Three years ago when I was about to get married we called Daren to help us find a home. Heartbroken, we later found out that my credit prevented us from being able to buy a home. The next year we decided our credit was good enough to buy a house. I eagerly Started sending links to Daren of homes I thought I wanted to look at. The third home we toured was one I had not found myself. The instant I walked in the door, I was in Love. We had been trying for over a month to get pre approval on a loan from our credit union and they never got back to us before we found this house. So Daren suggested someone he knew and he had us approved in two days! We were over the moon. We were carefully walked through the whole process of buying a home. Two months later we moved in with the red carpet rolled out on the sidewalk as we walked up to our house. This year we decided to start thinking about investment properties. Once again, we chose Remax Prestige! We looked at properties in Idaho Falls and even Island Park with our agent. On our Island Park day he spent most of his Saturday giving us tours. For a few reasons we decided to wait, hopefully only a year, before getting into another property. When we do, we will be calling on Remax Prestige again!

Where do I start? We were living in a motel while Connie and her Remax team went out of their way to find a new home for us. They didn’t care that we looked at every house on the market, usually after their regular work day because I had to meet at night. They were nothing short of spectacular for me. In the end we were able to get a wonderful home and at a great price too! Thank you Remax Prestiege and all of your help! Now I have some great friends too!

I WOULD NOT USE RE/MAX AT ALL!!!! -Don't trust them to do their job, cause they don't. -They will use their own inspectors that do shotty or less than sub par work. -Agents are more interested in the items she was looking to get than her customers best interest in the house. -Won't find out important information when you ask multiple times. -Agents don't care if you understand everything. Do not trust these agents as they will use their own inspectors that do shotty or less than sub par work. My realtor was more interested in the items she was looking to gain than her customers best interest in the house. If you do use re/max be very thorough, get your own inspector, hold them to their word and make sure that you get everything in writing (addendum's, what the seller will or will not fix). do not Esign anything with them do everything on paper in writing, make them spell things out and make sure you understand and know what you are signing cause they will pull a fast one on you. Don't trust them to do their job. This company is one of the laziest and selfish companies I have done business with and won't ever use them again and highly encourage you not to use them. -Rebuttal- As far them going to the extent of doing the things and purchasing the items for the house out of their own pockets. The seller said that we could have some items in the home then we came to find out that they weren’t his that he promised and had wrote in the addendum. The home warranty and professional cleaning was to be in place of those items in which he promised some one else’s property and couldn’t follow through. with that being said the home warranty was of much lesser value than those items and the house was never professionally cleaned. Before I could even say anything about the smoke detectors or the home inspection she said she would take care of those. I never asked or implied I wanted her to take care of those needs. The inspector simply went through the house and said what worked and what had obvious leaks and didn’t work. I could see if those things in the house worked or not. He never went into the attic to see the electrical boxes with out covers or that they were the wrong size for the amount of wiring. the pump house panel that was in a kind way to say it “jimmy rigged” didn’t have a shut off. With the past of the electrical issues of this house I’d say that any electrical problems should have been taken care of ASAP after what had happened and not swept under the rug. The electrician, family or not is a licensed and very highly regarded electrician for this area and more. As for the phone calls simply being missed, some people have jobs where they can’t answer their phones at work or don’t work from their phones. The time they took on the Holliday was completely and totally up to them. They were allotted a generous amount of time to have the stuff they left and didn’t want. With that being said they weren’t there on the actual holiday and if they were that was by their own choosing. they didn’t take the proper steps to prepare or have the house prepared for a even half way decent move in for me with sheds still full of the prior owners miscellaneous garbage that they had gone through and took what they wanted and left what they did not for me to take care of. I wasn’t buying a foreclosure but a well working and neat house and was not given that. When they did come and get the stuff out of the sheds, garage, and barn they moved my own personal property with out permission and brought heavy equipment that left deep tire tracks in the grass and dirt that will leave a imprint for who knows how long if it goes away at all. The listing said it had a septic tank after pumping it was found to be a grandfathered in cesspool that I’m sure is still too close to the well. In which the inspector that is so professional and reliable didn’t even think about where it drained to. Not to mention the supposedly loose wire in the breaker panel that was found to be two ground wires arcing. Yet your agents did a good job? I’d say not.

Where do I begin? I started working with Connie 2 years ago. She spent an entire week showing us homes that she knew we would love only to have me decide I wasn't quite ready to buy my new home yet. So I went back home, and Connie continued to keep in touch with me, finally June of last year, with no notice...I asked if she could show me some more homes...she was so kind and willing to fit me into her busy schedule! On our way to meet her to see a home we were hit head on On County line road! We were shaken up, but we were okay We called Connie to explain why we were not at the house and expected her to reschedule with us...but that is not what happened...Connie showed up at the accident scene and directed traffic around our wrecked Suburban, literally!! Then she drove my daughters and I back to my daughters apartment.
