In late fall of 2016, my closest friend unexpectedly passed away. I am the Executor of his estate. He owned a beautiful home in the north end of Boise and two rentals in Boise, as well. It quickly seemed like an overwhelming task to have to sell these three homes and also deal with the loss of my friend. In addition to the task of selling these homes, I still had my own business to manage as well as the other affairs of my friends' estate. Immediately, there were several Realtors calling me wanting to acquire the listings. What I really needed was a Realtor who would understand my situation, and ease the burden with compassion. This is where Scott Trefaller with Juniper Realty Group stepped in. Scott presented me with a clear and concise plan of what "he" would be doing to market the homes, deal with the tenants, and the ongoing home inspections, etc. At first I was amazed at how much work was involved and what was entailed in getting these homes sold. Scott assured me he would take care of as much of the work as possible. Not only did he follow through with his promises, but I feel he went way beyond what I expected. One of the rentals had a tenant who had lived there for nearly 30 years. Scott was able to accommodate his privacy request in showing the home, and also protect our interest in selling the home to the new owners. The other two homes needed some minor work done after the home inspections were completed. Scott found various contractors who were all very competent and trustworthy. I only had to meet him at the homes once to approve the work and he literally took care of the rest. I know he spent many hours at the other two homes letting contractors in, inspecting the work, and getting the bills to me. These efforts saved me a lot of heartache and provided me time to deal with other matters of my friends' estate. Scott also attended the closing meetings with me and made sure that process went as planned. I would recommend Scott to anyone needing real estate services. He is honest, communicates extremely well concerning all aspects of the sale, is efficient with time, and just gets stuff done. I thought the sale of these homes would be the biggest obstacle to deal with in settling the estate. In hindsight, the sale has actually been one of the easiest things to deal with, due to Scott's help.

My husband and I worked with Scott Trefaller to buy a house and could not recommend him more highly. We have recently moved to the area from England, so we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. We couldn't have had a better experience - Scott made everything so easy for us and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Even though my husband and I both work full time and the property market is crazy right now, Scott went out of his way to accommodate us and to show us houses at times that fit with our schedule. He was always professional and on time (usually early), and I was so relieved that even when I couldn't quite explain why a particular house wasn't 'the one', he never once tried to convince us to go against our instincts. In other words, he did absolutely everything he could to show us the houses we wanted to see, and never got impatient with us or tried to 'sell' us a house. It is a difficult market right now to find a house, but in the end we did get one that is perfect for us - which also happened to be the house that Scott suggested looking at on our first meeting with him. All of the legal purchase process went incredibly smoothly, which is 100% because Scott chased everyone up who needed to be chased up. To top it all off, Scott is genuinely a nice guy. I'll be recommending him to any friends or family looking to buy in the Boise area, and if I do ever decide to move again, I'll be calling him to help.

We sold our house with Juniper Realty in summer 2015. Our agent, who is no longer employed at Juniper Realty, was great to work with in listing our house. She was very responsive in answering our questions, guiding us through the process, explaining the advantages of listing at a reasonable price, communicating when to expect the photographer, coordinating staging, etc. After the house was listed, I was less impressed. The sign in our yard was never updated and still said "coming soon" a week after we closed; they showed up one hour LATE to the Open House - leaving me to entertain prospective buyers for an hour; and they forgot to tell us our counteroffer was accepted until I called three days later (24 hours after the deadline) to ask what happened. I don't believe these shortcomings were intentional, but I do believe they were way, way too busy and we didn't receive the focus that was necessary. I wouldn't NOT recommend Juniper Realty, but not sure I would recommend them either.

We listed our house in May of 2016. We were first time home sellers and Juniper and her team were extremely helpful every step of the way. We were having issues finding a handyman to do work on our house to get it ready to sell and Juniper put us in contact with some who did excellent work quickly and at a very reasonable price. Once the house was listed we had multiple offers and had a closing date set. Once again, her team was very helpful on getting the details of the closing set. Juniper and her husband Chris worked with us on finding a new home in a very competitive market. They made themselves available at a moments notice and at odd times to show us listings that worked with our schedule.
