Dealing with the Lampmans on the purchase of a new home was one of the worst experiences of my life. The experience was extremely unprofessional. The listing of the home itself should have never taken place as the home was in extremely poor condition, very filthy, and there were multiple issues with the home that has resulted in a large investment of money to address. I have no idea how it was even approved to be listed on the market. Any respectable real estate company would have requested that the sellers address the poor hygiene and numerous problems with the house before even considering listing the property for sale. The inspection I arranged should have forced me to back out of this sale, but I held hope that the Lampmans would have the sellers clean up the residence on move out, or at least address problems such as numerous burnt out lights or multiple holes in the walls. On sale of my previous homes, I have ALWAYS coordinated with my listing agents to ensure that the house is in proper condition for sale and move out. Do not expect the Lampmans to extend the same courtesy to you if you are buying a home from them. I highly discourage ANYONE from buying a home listed by the Lampmans. I can't speak to the other agents of the Homes of Idaho organization, but if my experience with the Lampmans is an indication of how this company is run, I highly recommend that you pursue homes not listed by Homes of Idaho Inc.

I know there must have been much hard work involved in what she did, but on my end it was nothing but smooth. Thanks to her high level of education about this process, it sold as we had hoped, and I was able to move on with my life. I couldn't be happier with her down-to-earth, honest and straight forward attitude!

Extremely unprofessional. Kept trying to talk me into going lower and lower on my price until it was practically not even worth my time. When they listed it, I got a call from one of my friends to look at the listings. The agent stated that the house could be used as a rental, which I explained was not an option when I met her, and stated that the house was larger than what it is. Then, they tried to lie about where they got the square footage when confronted. I ended up firing her for attempted fraud and her general attitude and will not do business with them again. ***UPDATE*** The owner called me a few minutes ago. I promised that I would update this review. He stated that they're going to list my house free. I've given them 60 days to prove that they are reputable. Keeping true to my word, I'm updating to a 3 star for that 60 days. ****Second update**** I gave Homes of Idaho their 60 days. Colby was supposed to stay in contact with me, which he did not. I never received any calls from him about my house and the only information I was given was when I would contact him about the house. While he may have the skills to sell a newer house (who doesn't), I'm afraid that he lacks the skillset, customer base or ability to move a fixer upper. He claims that he spent money on advertising, however a Zillow listing is free.
