I was a renter for 12 months with this company. Larry Woolf, the owner, came to access and fix a broken door knob at the home I was renting. The door knob ended up not getting fixed and Larry decided too snoop around the house. He acted like it was no big deal and that he had every right to walk around our house without our knowledge. I will NEVER do business again with this company. Unprofessional and very rude.

Very Poor. Larry Woolf was terribly unresponsive. We worked with him for over 3 months trying to get a short term rental for our family while relocating to Boise. 3 weeks before our move, he finally dragged up ONE option for us. But after we submitted the application he refused to respond by phone or email for a whole week. He finally called and acted like nothing happened. By that point we refused to work with him anymore. We did not trust him to handle the rental or the purchase of a home in Boise. This put us in a terrible position of having to find a place to live with only 2 weeks left until our arrival in the city.

American Realty is the property manager for our rental home in the area. We just started working with them, but the experience has been wonderful so far. Their management fees are reasonable and they allow me to do any basic maintenance on the property if I so choose before calling in an outside service. That lets me save money since I do all my own work on properties anyway. I highly recommend them.

PLEASE READ before renting through Wolf Property Management If you can get accepted with them, I'm positive you can get accepted anywhere. 1 The first thing they did was raise the rent for everyone, without fixing the old places that haven't been touched in years . 2 The list of things you can't have in your own place is outrageous. Candles, door hangers, wall things. 3 It took them 2 whole months to send the guys that were working 2 doors down to fix something that took them 10 minutes. 4 The people that work their are so rude and catty. I walking in to here the Taylor and other horrible lady talk about how some tenants didn't know Taylor so she could just show up. Not right. Larry showed to my house MANY times without notice and was rude when I told him I need notice. 5 The people that work for them say they "don't like" certain people. They were taking about specific hard working people because they didn't look right to them. They discriminate. 6 I put in an application to keep staying, even though I've lived there for 3 plus years, and they denied it and threw three children out without a second thought. Absolutely no compassion. 7 They charge you a thousand dollars if they feel like you violated their outrageously long and overboard rental agreement. 8 I hear about how the owners want to fire them all the time. 9 They hired the cheapest worst window installers they could find. Caldewll glass trashed my house and broke things. Larry told me and Caldwell glass that he would help clean up the mess. Never did and didn't do anything about the hole in the wall they left. I probably forgot some things too. If you want peace and I nice place to live. I'd go somewhere else. 10 They watched the house without me knowing because I got a letter after I had left saying they didn't see me moving out and every day will be 2,000 dollars.

I rented a 3 bed/ 2 bath condo with a fenced back yard and garage from Larry Wolf for over 5 years. They are by far the best rental company I have every worked with. If there was ever an issue they would make sure to have it resolved within 24 hrs if not that day, even helping out with yard work when I was recovering from surgery and changing light bulbs in my vaulted ceiling that I couldn't easily reach. I can't praise them enough and will definitely be going back to them when the time comes.

It was a compleatly a pleasure to work with this team of people. My wife and I rented thru them for over 6 years. They make the process so easy and they were always so helpful they even helped us to buy our house with there realtor and even saved our deal on our house when our loan officer failed at his job they worked to help uus switch, and close in the same time frame. 5-STARS for Woolf Property Management/American Realty. They were So Easy to work with, from the time we were moving to Boise from Tennessee, they made it as Easy as possible. We moved in the day we arrived without Any problems or concerns. The home was just as we were described it would be, as we moved sight unseen. We never had any problems the entire time we lived in the home, except the water faucet leaking once, and they jumped right on top of it after we notified them with a brand new installation of faucet. We had to break our lease in order to move back to Tennessee for health issues, and they worked with us So Wonderfully all the way through to getting another Tenant and letting us out of our lease early with minor fees for compensation. They Still Refunded us over Half of our Deposit even though we broke the lease 6 months into the contract. What Great People! I would just say if you are looking at one of their properties, then don't hesitate to Rent and/or Purchase from them. Thank You Chanelle Knapp for a Wonderful Stay! God Bless! Dan

Barb is our house guru. We have bought 2 houses and sold 1 of them with her. For the home we currently live in, Barb and Larry were our realtors and builders. Barb took our list of must-haves and helped us find a building lot and design the floorplan. She is the most patient, professional, and friendly realtor you'll find. With our first home, we looked at around 40 houses with her before finding "the one." She was so helpful and answered all of our many many questions we had as first-time buyers.. She knows the real estate business inside and out and makes it so painless. She is also prompt to return calls and kept us immediately informed throughout all of our buying/selling/building adventures. The office is so well-run. Chanelle always has a name and contact info when I call needing advice for a good plumber, electrician, etc. She's on the ball and doesn't miss a beat managing the day to day of the real estate, building, and property management businesses.

My husband and I rented from Larry and Barbara Woolf via American Realty from June 2014 through March 2018. We flew in from Illinois to look for our new Boise home in May 2014. Because of flight delays, we ended up with only one day to see properties. Even back then, the list of properties we had in mind to see during our trip were already spoken for by the time we arrived. We ended up seeing a home that was about to become available. The American Realty staff called and left a voicemail for Larry, who was out of town at the time. He called back and gave his approval over the phone for my husband, our labrador, and me to become the new tenants. It was such a relief to have a new home secured that day instead of having to figure out what we were going to do after returning to Illinois. We were so thankful to Larry and Barbara for that. The home was pretty low maintenance. The few minor things that needed addressing were addressed promptly. The rent did increase over time, but we understand this was happening across Boise and was not specific to this management company. We left the property only because we were ready to purchase our own home, not because we had any issues. We took care of the place like it was our own and followed all of the instructions in the lease for cleaning upon our departure; all of our damage deposit was refunded. We would definitely recommend Woolf properties to other renters.
