I stayed in their nightly rental property #9 on February 14 & 15 on a business trip. This property is AMAZING!! It is just right for up to 4 people. It has every amenity that a hotel has and so much more! Debra has a unique decor style that is very relaxing. This was like being in a brand new home. There is a secure garage that made me feel safe since I was traveling alone. It is right across the street from the lake and you can see it from the living room windows and the bedroom windows. I also loved the skylights in the living room. I will be staying here again when I am in Cherokee Village on business.

I have stayed in three different rental properties through Southern pines. My first experience was when my husband proposed! The home was gorgeous, super clean and perfect setting for a special memory! The staff at Southern pines are great andeven stocked the ingredients for my favorite dinner for my husband ahead of time. The next two times I stayed in the homes were for family get togethers... These houses were perfect! Homes away from home! Super luxurious, making me feel like roality! They are decorated to the hilt, and provide the comforts of home! I can't wait to stay again!

If trying to sell your home, don't waste your time going with any other than Debra Galkoski at Southern PInes. We had our home listed for close to 3 years with 2 other agencies in the area, each with over a year to sell our house. Debra sold our house in 3 months with more showings and effort in those 3 months than the past 3 years combined. Debra is very professional, honest, and in it for YOU. Debra provided us great advice and was quick to hit the ground running to get our house sold. Communication goes a long way, and was a big part of what was missing from our other experiences. We frequently received a call, text, or email from Debra letting us know how a showing went and if there were any concerns that may need to be addressed that might help with the next showing. Debra went above and beyond in every way in that she even made phone calls and got estimates and contractors scheduled for us upon our approval to take care of issues that needed immediate attention. We recently stayed at rental unit #9, the Red Robin house. My husband and I, and two grandkids couldn’t have been more pleased. The interior of this house is completely new! We have stayed in several rental homes in different states and this was by far the nicest! Top of the line stainless steel appliances, kitchen cabinets with self-closing drawers, tiled bathrooms, two living areas, new washer and dryer, we couldn’t ask for more. We were very pleased working with Southern Pines Realty. We will certainly work with them again on our next visit to Cherokee Village.

My husband and I had Boyd come out to our home on whipporwill. And he was suppose to talk with his broker to try and help us sell our home. Of course he made it clear my husband was asking too much for our home. But he was going to talk with his broker anyway and get back with us. We never heard from him. Not even to just let us know he was not going to be our agent to sell our home. Not one word!! I would not use the realty place ever!! And will tell anyone I know not to. Not only were we needing someone to sell our home. But if that person did a good job would be helping us to find another bigger home. So now we are in the process of finding someone else!!!!!

We recently stayed at a Southern Pines rental home and the experience was fantastic. The home went beyond our expectations in every way. The beds were comfortable, the towels were plush and the owners provided so many extras that aren't normally found in a rental home. I highly recommend this business!

Professional is far from the truth. The homes they rent are expensive and run down. The air conditioning in my husbands rental home didn't work and the house would heat up to almost 80 degrees during the day. With 90% humidity it's miserable. Then they decided to spring a surprise on my husband and give a two day notice to vacate because they had other renters who had reserved the property a year ahead of time. I understand when you reserve something that far in advance you should get it, but they need to give people more then 2 days to vacate! Not to mention I had to call about the trash guy not coming to pick up the trash. Save yourself a headache and go through a more professional reality company. You'll get better properties from other companies for much less money.

I have stayed in rental houses managed by Southern Pines for the last few years about a dozen times. Each stay was great - the houses have been clean, neat, well furnished, and in good condition. I could not be happier with my experience in Southern Pines' rental homes.

I am so pleased with Southern Pines Realty's service. The office personnel were so friendly on the phone and in person upon our arrival. There was an a/c problem with my original rental and was given an incredible upgrade. I had only one day to look at some waterfront properties and Debra Galkoski took the time to go very early in the morning since I had a long drive back to the St. Louis airport. She is down to earth, friendly and honest. We connected quite well and she really listened to my thoughts and wants. This is my second stay at Cherokee Village through Southern Pines and I will always use Southern Pines Realty for my rental (and hopefully purchasing) needs.

We rented House # 7- plenty of room. Loved that both floors had a view of the lake. The back deck was wonderful- we spent most of our time on this deck. The kids had a blast jumping off the boat dock. It was wonderful!! Had a good time and will rebook for next year.

Beware...I rented a property for the weekend and left it very clean. I met their demands to clean the grill, take out the trash, roll the trash can to the curb,and place all dirty linens on the washer. I even went further, cleaned the dishes and wiped down counters. I got a voice mail about 5 days after I left that the cleaning lady said there was oil on the carpet and they were charging me an extra $137.61 to clean it. They billed this to my credit card without my permission. If you have obligated yourself to rent from them take note of my complaint... I would advise that you have an agent meet you at the house before leave to inspect and sign that you are leaving it in order.
