Renting from ERA has been a nightmare for me. I knew I was in trouble when the house wasn't cleaned by my move-in date (or since). After a year things that were "promised" to be fixed before moving in are still broken and it's pure frustration when trying to get any maintenance done such as repairing leaking plumbing or faulty wiring. Unless they have the only property that works for you I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This review is to based on issues we experienced that was caused by the inactions of individuals working at ERA four feathers realty property management and not with any realtor. We have been leasing a property from ERA since August 2013, during the lease period we experienced several issues that caused us undue hardship brought upon by the procrastination of personnel working in the property management office at ERA four feathers realty. The problems we experienced were a faulty air conditioning unit and two refrigerators. In July 2015 I contacted property management office and informed individual working there that the air conditioning unit was not working, it took them over 40 days to finally resolve the problem (waiting for insurance approval, technician, parts, etc.), while we were waiting for repairs, we were forced to pay for lodging out of pocket until the issue was resolved, we did not get reimbursed for our losses, even though we paid the full rent for that time. In June 2016, we experienced problems with the air conditioning unit again, this time the repairs were completed in three weeks Another ongoing issue that took them over a year to resolve was an issue with faulty refrigerators. The refrigerator that was in the house when we moved in was freezing produce and food and causing liquids to freeze and explode inside the refrigerator, after several unsuccessful attempts to correct the problem the refrigerator was finally replaced in August 2016, this however did not resolve the problems we were experiencing. Soon after the refrigerator was replaced, we started experiencing the same issues with the new refrigerator, when this was reported to ERA and we requested reimbursement for our losses, an individual working there had the idiocy to tell us to file claim under our renter’s insurance policy, being ignorant or inapt to understand that when we file a claim under our renter’s insurance for an issue caused by negligence of the people responsible of maintaining the property raises our insurance rate, which is an additional financial burden that we incur. Additionally, when an appointment is scheduled to fix problems, we must clear our schedule and wait for the technician to arrive to diagnose the problems, and after the diagnosis, we must wait up to two weeks for the replacement parts to arrive (additional time not having properly operating air condition/refrigerator) and have another time blocked waiting for the technician to come back to repair the deficiency. A search of several web sites indicates that our experience with ERA property management is not unique, other individuals seemed to have experienced similar issues when dealing with ERA four fathers realty property management, one individual described it best “working with ERA is an uphill battle”, further search on Facebook reviled that out of five, five-star reviews ERA received, four of them are from associates working for ERA. If you decide to rent from ERA be prepared to interact with inept property managers, ensure all your repair requests are in writing to confirm you have proof as they have a tendency of not responding to messages over the phone or in person.

Kelly Blue - a first class professional realtor. We have been in our new home 5 months and are still thrilled with our purchase. Kelly knew the area, the market, the benefits, the rules, HOA's, laws, policies, regulations, you name it. We are both facing retirement, and between us have purchased over 8 homes so we are not new at this. Kelly was clear, kept her word, honored her commitments, and demonstrated competency beyond our expectations. Congrats to her entire staff.

If you need a realtor pick Kelly Blue!! Kelly was amazing. She got us the house we wanted with no problems (only had to look for one day) and sold our house before it even hit the market!! Most people dread selling their house but it was so easy with her! She answered all of my questions super fast and was incredibly easy to work with. I can't say enough wonderful things about how amazing she is!!!!!!

After my application was approved and a holding deposit was given, I was notified there was some painting that needed done. To my surprise, I later received an email that due to painting the rent would have to be increased by $50 a month. I wasn't thrilled about paying $600 for routine maintenance, especially after they'd listed and accepted an application/payment. I ended up accepting the increase to avoid house hunting and submitting applications again. For ten months of the twelve month lease I was deployed, so the property saw minimal use overall. When I returned, ERA asked if I would like to renew the lease. A couple weeks before the expiration they notified me they wanted to increase the rent. I declined the renewal and decided to move out. I never moved any furniture in, and only two rooms saw use in the two months I was there. I cleaned everything up nice, but the lease required professional cleaning. Looking around it appears only two places in Sierra Vista do professional cleaning. When I called the first place she told me she knew the folks at ERA and would be happy to swing by and take a look and tidy up. We scheduled a cleaning the day before the inspection. I stopped by to see how it was going and the cleaners notified me that if I wanted her to send a receipt to Joe, I would have to pay them $500. They admitted they had only spent a few hours on the property. Carpet cleaning is prepaid, so the carpets were not even touched. From all I could see they re-mopped and wiped the counters/bathrooms down. I figured ERA would probably pay them twice that out of my deposit if I didn't pay their friend willingly, so I forked over the cash. The garage door was damaged when I first moved in and the hinge plate had finally cracked all the way through while I was gone and it wouldn't open. When I returned for the final month it was still broken, along with the washer seal not having been replaced, despite technicians coming to look at both months prior. When I left and received the bill for the remaining issues, I was surprised to see $30 per for bulbs, outlet covers, and many numerous minor issues that ERA was notified of when I first moved in. Overall the experience was pretty awful, and the nickel-and-diming/extortion was atrocious. I don't normally post reviews, and initially I wasn't going to bother. What convinced me was when I received word back that they had given me a poor renter reference, despite making 100% of my payments on time for a house that was barely occupied and left with fewer problems than when I moved in. To anyone considering renting from them, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Virginia Cleven of ERA Four Feathers Realty is without exception the best agent a seller could ask for. Her service is second to none. She knows the market in SV and the surrounding areas through her long experience working with people. Her detail work, professionalism, as well as her "get it done" attitude is the best. High regards for her team at Four Feathers as well. Virginia Cleven has sold 2 houses for me in the Sierra Vista Market in the past 2 years. She is NUMBER 1 in my book. Thank you Virginia Cleven and Four Feathers Realty.

I love my realtor. Yolanda is the best!

So far terrible, keep hoping they will wake up, but wow, talk about ego interfering with customer service. Definately would not recommend, but my interaction has been with 2 employees. Totally agree with the 1 star rating on the other post.

I can't speak for the other posters, but I just had to post something myself when I saw the comments being left. Let me be clear, Four Feathers Realty ensured my wife and I received the most amazing home we could ever ask for. Specifically, Kelly Blue was an absolute GOD SEND and a dream to work with. One of the fears that we had during our home purchase process, was finding a "used car salesman" type of Realtor. Kelly was able to immediately put any fears we had to rest, and was always patient, kind, and most importantly, honest. Whenever we had questions (and there were many), she answered them immediately. Whenever we wanted to see a new home (and there were many we wanted to see), she always stopped whatever prior engagement she had planned and ensured we were able to see it. Because this was our first home, she not only battled for us to have the best price possible, she walked us through the entire process from start to finish and answered our many questions. Even after we closed on the home and we found out that the sellers did not provide everything we needed, Kelly stayed on the other agency until things were made right for us. I cannot say enough about the ladies that work at this office. They are truly top-notch! I'd wholeheartedly recommend ERA!

Kelly Blue made our dream of buying our first home a beautiful reality. Who knew it could be fun and fast? Kelly took excellent care of us from start to finish, making sure no question was unanswered and all of our needs and wants were satisfied. She is friendly, patient, thorough, genuine, professional, and kind. She helped us every step of the way and really made us feel like family. I would highly recommend Kelly Blue to you if you want to buy or sell a home for the best experience possible!

I was going to use this company, but after a 5 minute phone call and hearing how they treated my friend, I would NEVER use them nor would I recommend.

This company is very unprofessional. Stephanie is rude and condescending. I would NEVER recommend them for rental. Our AC was an issue when we moved in and it took 8 months to correct. The company claimed ignorance. We had to site tenant landlord law to get them to fix it. They make you feel like a problem when repairs are needed. We moved in and had sewage coming up into our tubs and sink within days of moving in. Do not rent from this company.

El Co

BEWARE!!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE! I am begging of this company to please get Stephanie professional help. She is not a stable person to have dealing with customers. She is so far off her rocker to be handling money and humans. If ERA continues to work in this manner you will be seeing more 1 star reviews! This is absolutely the WORST company I have ever had to do business with and I was just recently at the Department of Motor Vehicles and that was a walk in the park compared to this nightmare of a company! This is a trash property management company and should be shut down immediately. Please take my word and RUN... Not walk far away from ERA Four Feathers Realty, LC. You will thank me later!
