Shawn Beaird was a pleasure to work with on our new home purchase. We looked at several houses and he always knew the neighborhoods very well and school districts. He guided us through a well plotted outing every time we went to look at properties. He was very responsive to questions and always available when we needed. He worked closely with our Mortgage company to close on time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, it was a true pleasure. Be prepared, I'm about to gush. I am rarely moved to post reviews online, even though I utilize them all the time when seeking services, but our experience with Shawn Beaird at Dwell Arizona has been so incredible...I have no choice, I have to rave! We found Shawn by chance; while looking through Phoenix properties online (relocating from Los Angeles), we landed on Dwell Arizona's website. The curated homes on Shawn's site drew us in, and I made a call. Shawn picked up at once, and listened calmly while I rambled on about what we were hoping to find (mid-century, modern-ish, good bones, good price, open to cosmetic changes, not wanting a gut job, on and on). Then he proceeded to guide us through an incredibly challenging process, buying a home from afar. The first day we flew in, he picked us up and spent TEN HOURS with us, going through neighborhoods and homes. When we finally found our dream home (on the 3rd trip), he took charge and got us the best deal, took care of any challenges, set up great inspections, even met us at our closing for a toast! Are you still reading? It gets better. Shawn has also been a wealth of resources -- putting us in touch with great tradespeople and contractors for renovations, ideas for budget-friendly fixes, it goes on and on. He's even checked in with restaurant recommendations and dealing with our new city's summer heat. Shawn's combination of architecture background (an amazing resource to draw on when looking at older homes), his keen intellect, calm demeanor and no-holds-barred approach to getting the best for us, has made us life-long loyal Dwell Arizonans! Shawn was a great help in finding me my first home. I was a picky buyer, and sometimes I didn't even know exactly what I wanted! So I'm sure I didn't make it easy for him. Couple that with multiple offers that were outbid by cash buyers, and it led to a very long process. Despite that, Shawn was extremely patient. He was very helpful in guiding me through the process of home buying, and even helped me figure out the long-term rental options for the properties I was looking at.
