REVIEWS OF Nina P. Bartell, Ph.D. IN Wisconsin

Carla Doudna

Nina has been our families life vest. She has assisted us in many areas including parental alienation. Her ability to assist our kids in seeing things from multiple view points has helped them grow to beautiful functional young adults who in turn have learned about "paying it forward". We are thankful for all that Nina has helped us with and continue to recommend her services to others. We wish there were others like her with her abilities to help children and adults of all ages. Dr. Bartell is thorough, she is caring and she has great gift with children. She was appointed to my case and had a difficult job to uncover many things about my case. If I lived closer, I would be happy to choose her as my therapist. Her staff is professional and easy to work with. I appreciate her the work she did on my case.

Dr. Nina has been THE savior in our family during so many tumultuous times . We originally began seeing her over 4 years ago to support , guide and help us with a child crisis . Every member of the family was involved . She gave us tenderness , advice , instructions , responsibilities and guidance . Through the years our family is healing and now I have personally continued to see Nina , she was our buoy when my family was drowning .

I won’t see any other therapist. As a matter of fact, I moved out-of-state, and continued my sessions with Nina via phone. She is professional and extremely knowledgeable, but also down to earth and kind. She made me feel comfortable from the first day I began my therapy. Dr Bartell has given me and continues to give me the tools I need to move forward in my life, and to have a better quality, more fulfilling, positive outlook. I honestly would not be “living happy” today if I had not met Dr. Bartell. Thank you, Nina.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bartell for children with divorced parents.

Dr. Bartell interviewed my daughter in regards to a custody evaluation. Dr. Bartell spent about an hour and half and stated the child has anxiety issues but didn’t feel changing the custody arrangement would be in the best interest of the child. Child lives with dad full-time. Perhaps not being with her mom is causing some anxiety problems??? Or the fact that the minor child has witnessed domestic violence between her dad and step mom. Dad has a girlfriend-although still married and living with his wife AND has introduced our daughter to his girlfriend. I guess this is also a healthy environment for the child.? Would this make a child anxious, confused? It’s very sad the child has to witness this dysfunctional relationship every day. I guess emotional well being is not important. I wonder if the parents of children who were killed in high school shootings would have some input on mental health issues amongst young adults? This doesn’t come out of nowhere -it stems back to childhood issues. Unfortunately, I thought and hoped for my daughters sake this would be the ONE person looking out for the childs best interest. Meeting a child for one visit is not enough time to fully understand what the child is feeling/ experiencing every day. I can only hope and pray my daughter will come out of this situation a stronger person.
