I went in for a possible hernia. I called a head of time to see if they had an ultrasound or other equipment to confirm it was hernia. They said they had machines and would confirm it was hernia with equipment. They saw me for a total of one minute before they wanted to take blood work. They never used any equipment to confirm if it was hernia like they said they would over the phone. They even said the blood work was not going to show anything related to the hernia. I get one free wellness visit a year that covers all blood work and made sure before I consented to blood work that it would be covered since it had nothing to do with my hernia. They confirmed that it would be counted as a free visit. Turns out they were wrong and I got charged $160 a month later. Today I learned that they can’t rebill it to my insurance as a wellness visit. Because of their misinformation I was charged $160 for blood work that the nurses said I didn’t even need, which wasn’t related to my visit and I can’t rebill to my insurance. I would have never consented to blood work if they would have told me the truth. I also didn’t learn a thing about my possible hernia that day because of misinformation that they would check me with an ultrasound, which they didn’t do. Never going back here again.
