Well-educated and intelligent doctors who are, unfortunately, represented by mostly rude staff. I could be biased based on an unfavorable experience. (Went to several office visits and paid my copay, had an issue with our bank card and had to freeze our account so I called the morning of and explained my situation asking if I could pay my $25 copay a few days later as I had no cash on me and my husband was out of town with our other credit cards. Was told I had to cancel my appointment if I could not pay that day and would be charged a $25 fee for "late cancel". I said that I understood their policy, apologized (even though a couple weeks prior I was sitting in the waiting room and overheard a gentleman tell the same receptionist that he had forgotten his wallet and to bill him for his copay), and proceeded to ask when I could reschedule my appointment (as the woman hung up on me). Wow. Decided to find a better office.

I was a patient at Psy-Care for more than 20 years. Previously they were great providers and very responsive. Recently I had a severe recurrence of my depression; PsyCare staff - doctors and therapist - totally dropped the ball. I have now gone elsewhere and am doing fine.

Dr. Dreyer is an amazing psychologist. I’m so lucky to have found him. I’ve been seeing him for over a decade and at first I didn’t want to talk at all, and he just let me sit there. He didn’t force conversation or anything. I think that was important. Now I ramble about everything....I feel sorry for him sometimes during our sessions lol. He’s a good person. Dr. Dan has helped as well. Two completely different personalities but the combination I believe was key in getting me through some tough times. I’m grateful to them. Office staff is always welcoming and kind.

It would not be fair for me to leave a 1 star review due to the fact that my only experience with this facility was the initial phone call. It took a lot for me to reach the point that I was ready to call and make an appointment to see a mental health specialist. The receptionist was nice enough. I asked if they were accepting new patients and she asked about what insurance I had to which she said they accepted and then forwarded me to the intake coordinator, Annette. Keep in mind that I am dealing with some intense anxiety and am just looking to get in the door. From the moment she answered her tone was rude and it seemed like I was bothering her. I said I'd like an appointment, please. She said what do you wanna be seen for? To which I replied depression and anxiety mainly. And in an annoyed tone she responded no...like medication or therapy? This threw me for a loop because I just wanted a consultation to determine if medication was necessary...so I responded umm I guess medication...maybe both? And she was like okay what's your insurance...to which I responded BC/BS...(remember every word she's saying is dripping with impatience and clearly couldn't care less that there's a human on the other end of the line) and she says very annoyed "need the information off the card"...at this point I can't believe the lack of bedside manner for a person who is in charge of getting psychologically unstable people in the door and I get choked up and tell her actually I'll call back later. I was about to start crying (again, anxiety) and I couldn't deal with her. If anyone sees this that works with her, please just remind her that it takes a lot for some people to make that phone call and regardless of if I've interrupted something by calling, you should treat people with respect and act like you care even a little bit. Thanks.

I have been going to this office for many years now and have had a wonderful experience with the Doctors and my Therapist. When I first started to see Dr. Voltin I was spiraling down word fast and he got me stable to were I can live life again. Christi Florez has helped me with a lot of break through's. The only bad thing to say is that if it wasn't for the fact that the Doctors and Therapists have brought me so far I would have left along time ago. The staff is rude and inconsiderate and incompetent at their jobs. They are no help what so ever. It used to be worse and it has gotten better with some new staff, but they really need to work on it , but please wait to see the Doctor's before you judge it by the staff. I am only giving it 4 stars because of the staff issue.

First time going to this office for a psychiatrist, saw Amy Wehrle, she was very rude, inconsiderate and thinks she knows it all. I've previously been diagnosed with panic attacks, major depressive disorder and PTSD. My previous Dr had me on 2 mg of xanax a day and she says no one can need more than 1 xanax every 2-3 weeks so take my last 3 expired ones over the next mo. Obviously she has a perfect life and thinks everyone else should too. No medication for me for panic attacks and I let her know should anything happen to me she's gonna be held responsible for not taking time to listen or care. Very disappointed with her, she has no reason being a psychiatrist!!
