I have been on Efanov's waiting list since December 2018 (it's now coming up on Nov 2019) because she does some of the specific therapies I apparently need (and she takes my insurance). I've called to find out where I am on the list, and I was assured that I was on it. At one point, I was number 3. Over the summer, the office called to offer me group therapy. I was pretty angry about that--I had asked specifically for individual therapy and was trying to be patient with their insanely long wait times. Apparently, I was dropped from the list but not told. I called back last month to find out where I was on the list, and that's when they told me I'd been dropped and they'd put me back on, but of course, I'd lost my place. The front desk people are not helpful at all, and a year-long waiting list is INSANE. Either connect patients to another therapist who does similar treatment or TURN THEM AWAY. It is ludicrous that they're making people with serious mental issues be strung along for a YEAR.

Also kudos to the front desk staff you are impeccable at providing the warmest customer service.!!!!!

This practice is extremely sloppy. The worst is that I found out in my session that the therapist was a student and not licensed yet, and I was charged $250 for a 45 minute session. No one from the practice told me ahead of time of the unlicensed status so that I could make the decision for myself. Booking was also a fiasco as they have several people manning the front desk - struggling to answer basic questions and the employees giving conflicting information. When I canceled a session via email I never got a response and called to follow up a few business days later. I was instructed that to get a timely response I needed to call. Save yourself the time and hassle, do not ever go there.
