This clinic is very nice - easy to get to - very helpful and great therapists. I highly recommend this for any type of counseling services. It seemed like they took most insurance.

The counselors are great, but you would think the front desk staff/receptionist would be much more kind but I have never experienced such awful customer service, it almost makes my appointments much more stressful and such a negative experience. Recently when trying to reschedule an appointment, I was transferred from the answering service to the riverton office. I work graveyards and had overslept - thought I would give them the courtesy to call in and let them know I couldn’t make it - when I explained my situation she said she would go ask the counselor a question for me, then hung up. I wasn’t sure if it was an accident but I gave it a few moments for a call back and heard nothing. I called back, the receptionist said she had to email the counselor. Even though we originally had an appointment at that very moment. With the urgency of getting me in last time much sooner, she seemed to not care about that at all. I am very disappointed in their lack of understanding and customer service. Other than that, the counselors are great. But their front desk is ruining it for them and makes it a very uncomfortable environment. I am definitely looking at different clinics because of this.

Staff isn't properly trained. They have no problem throwing other staff members under the bus. The nurse practitioner doesn't know hardly anything about the medication they are prescribing and when you address side effects happening to you they say 'I've never heard of that before" and before too long permanent damage is done. Always waited in the waiting room for long periods of time and then the sessions were always cut short. Counselors can't separate medical advice from religion. They don't care about you or your what is concern is.

I had to wait in the lobby for a half hour past my scheduled appointment time while listening to two giggling secretaries who didn’t seem to be working at all. I then met with Jen (a marriage counselor who I discovered has not yet been married herself) who seemed more interested in discussing payment options of making me a long term client than asking about what was going on with me and how she could help. I paid my balance in full at the time of service and haven’t been back since. Now (3 months later) I received a bill that doesn’t even list details as to the date of service or how they came up with the amount billed. This is my first negative review of any company. I just want people who need help to go to a place that won’t cause them more problems like it did to me. It really isn’t fair to do to people in need.

I was set up to have a counseling session with Lori Belnap, during the session she couldn’t have seemed more disinterested in me. I thought it interesting she kept her coat on during the entire hour...I didn’t think it was cold in the room. She asked me how old I was and proceeded to say “wow, well you’re extremely small to be a woman of that age” I wasn’t there for an eating disorder. I was told she was the counselor for trauma...I would think a trauma counselor would have more empathy than what I was given. Needless to say I won’t refer anyone to her or this facility.

I’ve been coming to this facility for over two years. I haven’t had any bad experiences and have found the staff to be nice and helpful. And all my councilors seem like they know what there doing.

no problems with quality of service, but we just got a bill with a letter saying they had a glitch in billing and didn't send invoices for 3 months, so we called to find out what times we visited and didn't pay the co-pay... they gave us 4 dates, and we have, so far, found proof that we paid 3 of those... shady...

Go somewhere else! Talking to the therapist felt like talking to my LDS Bishop. He also fell asleep several times during the 30 min session. But that’s not why I’m giving them 1 star. Billing is the real issue here. 3 months after the appointment they sent me a bill for $358 (for a 30 min visit with a therapist who knows nothing about counseling). They asked for my insurance information the first time I called to make the appointment. THEY told me who to see based on my insurance network, but now they are saying the provider I saw is OUT of network so of course my insurance denied the claim. Shady and dishonest!!! Of course I never went back after that first visit, so it’s very frustrating to get a bill 3 months after that awful experience!

Why isn't 0 stars an option? Do NOT bring your child here, Bruce Fordham forgets everything you tell him and then shares that information he did actually retain with your child causing more of a problem. Also, after he causes more damage between you and your child, his parting words after the appointment will be "Good luck". Their cancellation texting system doesn't record your cancellation and then they charge you $50.00 and never listen to your reasoning, they just state "Clinic policy". I called back today after removing ourselves from Bruce's care 2 months ago due to his inability to listen and treat people like they should be and I was told because of the "number of cancellations you had (2) we will have to speak to the therapists to see who would be WILLING to see him". So if you want your child's well being to be sidelined due to THEIR clinic cancellation issues then by all means, take your child to them because they won't care as long as they get their money.

I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. They are by far the most unorganized and unreliable, so called professionals I have ever worked with. A huge disappointment!!!!! I wouldn't even give them1 star.

The therapist I visited at highland springs was amazing and very helpful. The billing dept and front desk are another story. I was dealing with billing issues for six months, not to have the issue resolved. The issue was due to the front desk staff not giving me the correct information on how much I owed leaving me with a huge fee. This is extremely disappointing. I would love to go back, but having to deal with billing issues for six months isn’t worth my time.

Jessica is a fantastic therapist, love going to her. ...however, as other reviewers have mentioned, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I'm currently on hold to speak with someone about setting up a medication management appointment, and I've been on hold for 21 minutes and counting. Highland Springs, your providers are fantastic, if you work on your customer service and front office organization, you'd alleviate most of your customers' complaints.

Great office with friendly, competent staff. No idea what office the one star reviews are coming from. Never had a problem with anyone I've seen or talked to. Sometimes the Providers do run a little behind as noted, but that is no different than any other medical office. Overall one of the best MH Needing Clinics I've ever been to.

I had julio lachaga as my therapist, i do not recommend him at all. I go to therapy for help, ways to cope, not to be judged. I dont think a therapist should share their own opinions about what they think about your problems. You should be able to say how something makes you feel, and the therapist should figure out the root of these feelings and help you cope, not tell you how dumb you are for feeling that way about something. Telling you “this is how it actually is” without any credibility to back it up isn’t helpful either.

I go to this location as well as the Orem location. The front staff at both locations are always kind, professional and easy to work with. The therapist I see here is awesome. They work to meet my needs and don't just force me into a pre-determined care plan. The insurance process with Highland Springs was seamless and trouble free. As long as I stay scheduled a few weeks in advance, I can get any appointment time that I need. I highly recommend Highland Springs Clinic.

They will send you bills after you have paid claiming they didn’t get your payment then no one will return your calls or emails to handle the situation. Seems worse on one’s mental health to me! They aren’t in it to help you.

The doctor my daughter saw at this location did not monitor her meds well at all. He let her run out of a critical medication, and it turns out that going without cold turkey on that medicine could lead to seizures and serious withdrawals and landed us in the ER. When it was pointed out that he let her run out, they accused her of abusing her meds. We provided proof that she ran out due to their inefficiencies, and they just didn't care. I don't feel like this doctor is taking the well being of people with mental illness seriously enough. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
