REVIEWS OF Connections Counseling IN Utah

Alyssa Anderson

Literally every single time I have come here, they claim that I did not pay my copay for the last one, or sometimes even *two* appointments, which is a joke because I pay every time and have the receipts to prove it, yet somehow the same thing happens over and over and over..

Helpful counselors, groups

Connections has been there for me from the beginning. Without Connections I would not be where I am at today. It has and will continue to be a pivotal part in my recovery. When I thought I was not able to attend group or 1 on 1 therapy due to changes in my insurance the people at Connections directly intervened on my behalf . This happened not once, not twice, but three times. Each time in the interim between insurance changes I was able to continue groups and therapy with help of the Recovery Foundation. They are kind, caring, and compassionate, and if you are willing to put in the work they will always have your back!

Therapist is absolutely amazing. But have always had a hard time with receptionists. Call and never get response, wouldn't listen to me about insurance, and have been pretty short with me.

Chris Adams is amazing. We've come to him for counseling for several different aspects of our family over the past few years. Dating, marriage, children/adoption. My wife typically schedules the appointments and I always go into it wondering what anyone could possibly say to help or shed light on the situation at hand (in my head I go in thinking "Good luck with this one, Chris."). Yet every time I've come out enlightened with a new understanding of things and a sense of what steps should be taken next. I was never a fan of therapists - didn't think they were necessary (I don't know if this means anything, but...I'm an engineer...I like to solve my own problems). I would recommend Chris to anyone in need of a therapist/counselor though - I'm not sure there's anything he couldn't help with. What a great guy!

Great place, great staff very caring and helpful!

Michael Kraus

I am a real alcoholic with a real mental illness. I can't imagine my recovery without them. Heavy 1:1 with my main therapist helps to quiet the voices. Being in a group with other addicts is very validating and the to function as a mentor it is more than validating. As for copays... We are all human...some more than others talk with someone who can do something about them.. Smile and move on...,

Christopher Adams is great. He understands men and he understands women. You will see incredible success because of his counseling.

Chris Hughes

Gets to the core of issues quickly and motivates real change. Love the new reception/admin help as well!

I have had and continue to have wonderful experiences with the people who helped me along the way at Connections. Connections Mentor program has made it rise above the other providers in town in my opinion. Positive people, vibes and experiences keep me around even if I don't think I need it.

I suffer from severe anxiety and depression but my therapist and doctor are extremely insightful and patient. My only complaint about connections counseling is the seemingly untrained, and unprofessional receptionists and billing employees. My insurance covers most of my treatment but I still have a copay. but LITERALLY every time I go to my bi-weekly apointments, they claim i have a $90+ charge for a "no show." I have paid over $300 in these ridiculous fees and have even considered threatening a lawsuit since i clearly have all my receipts

William Gehrke

I wouldn't be clean without this place.

Have met with a couple of the therapist at this office. Chris Adams is wonderful, knowledgeable, and very insightful. Very easy to speak with and he quickly can understand your need and goals. Preston is the other that I have spoken with. He is great. Can be soft but also firm when necessary. He always knows where to take the conversation to find positive solutions and goals. Highly recommend Connections Counseling

jodie jensen

Chris is amazing both family counseling and individual. He also has an acute ability to help you discover your own individual journey and challenges.

Connections Counseling has wonderful and diverse clinicians that go above and beyond for their clients. I could not recommend them more.
