Can We Hit 200 Subscribers Without Videos?

I haven't gotten to see the doctor himself, but the blonde guy at the front desk seemed like he was have a bad day or something?? He was quiet rude. The lady over the phone told me that my insurance is in network, but it wasn't which made me feel like I've been tricked. Overall, the place was creepy.

I have been coming to Comprehensive Psychological Services for over two years. Not only is my personal therapist one of the most amazing men i have ever met but also the staff is soooooooooooo real and compassionate. They are always so kind and respectful me! I truly feel with all my heart that any negative reviews about the facility must be attributed to mental illnesses and unwillingness to take responsibility for ones own actions!

christopher axley

Terrible place to go, my wife paid $175 for the first visit. Second visit was a month out with a date. When said date came, the office people said she would have to register as a new client AGAIN, and it would be over the scheduled 15min session, so they denied seeing her, and had to push her out another month. You cant do that when people need their meds. You also can admit your mistake and make it right by getting us in the next week. Not a good company to do buisness with

Chris Johnson

I have gone to comprehensive psychological services on and off for the last 15 or so years and have seen multiple psychologists over the years but, mainly with Steve. He is excellent and what he does and highly recommend booking an appointment with him!

Matt Melton

Prepare to be treated like a number and not a person. The front desk frequently claims that they never got a refill request or actually faxed a blank piece of paper back to the pharmacy. Business thrives because they are the only game in town. If you can find another option go that route for sure.

This place is a scam!

Traumatizing experience with my teen. Completely destroyed our confidence in mental health therapy.

For the past 6 years I have been coming here for medication management. I have seen Dr. Neuman for years, and before him I saw Dr. Thatcher (before he left for the VA hospital). I love, love, love Dr. Neuman as a psychiatrist. He is: -no nonsense - a very good listener -very concerned about my well-being -always willing to slow down for his patients (not just me I've seen it with others) In short, I trust Dr. Neuman with my mind and my well being. It's very scary to have a mental illness, but Dr. Neuman has given me a new lease on life. I will be forever grateful to him for carefully balancing my medications. As for the staff it as gotten better and worse over time and better again. As far as I can see it's all about having enough staff to cover all the providers?

HORRIBLE!!!!!!! My mother was the one that went to this place to receive some counseling since she has been experiencing chronic depression for some time. My mom came home one night after the first few sessions and i asked her how it went. She was horrified at the way the psychiatric PA (Catherine) had treated her. From what my mom described she was late to the appointment begin with, and when she started talking to her she came across defensive and rude. According to my mom's experience, all she would do is look her up and down, make a snarky comment to everything she said, and overall have an unprofessional behavior. Which isn't surprising considering this place only has two and a half stars. If people coming into this place are as depressed as my mom, they don't deserve to be treated like this, even if they are difficult to deal with themselves. Don't waste your money on this place.

Monica Sabin

Very unhappy with my experiences there.

I never write reviews but must warn you to stay away from this place! I would not go here again if you are serious about getting any kind of help for yourself or anyone you care about.

I have to admit the negative reviews that people have left made me nervous to go to this place. I almost cancelled but I'm glad I didn't. Dr. Neuman was fantastic. He worked so well with me. He even asked my opinion on what I wanted. He really listened to me and my concerns and problems. I am so glad that I switched over to him from my last doctor. I feel very positive about my future in feeling better again. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Tricia Englert

I have been seeing Dr. Llewelyn for almost a year and I have had a wonderful experience. I see old reviews and the staff must be newer because I have never had a bad experience with them. Amber is my favorite, she is very friendly, helpful, and caring. I don't know what I would do if I had to go somewhere else.

Taylor Reid

Efficient and easy to work with! I've never had anything but a pleasant experience.

Alexandria Wells

Jeff missed one of my appointments and when he showed up the next week, he was on his phone the whole time I was speaking.

Heather Park

Extremely professional counseling.

Horrible place to go. Do not recommend to anyone. They messed up the billing codes, Staff were rude, Doctor ordered wrong Medications, Doctor didn't listen to what I had to say, Kept pulling my husband in and interrogating him. Honestly caused me more psychological damage dealing with these people than it helped.

Mary Ann Lloyd

I've been seeing Doctors and Psychs. here for over a year and out of all my experiences with Psychologists and Psychiatrist from State to State, bc we are a military family. I couldn't be more pleased to be here. I wish I could take Natalie Herndon & James Parker with me to our next duty station. Unfortunately, I can't. Great people to work with!

Richard Parsons

dr. Neumann seems fine but each and every time I get a refill I have to call the pharmacy, then call his office repeatedly. I have to make sure they actually faxed my pharmacy because they say they did and they haven't. then after they say they did, I have to call my pharmacy again to confirm that they haven't and call them Neumann's office again to ask them to do what they say has already been done. I have repeated this process several times before anything actually happens. this place has to be baby sat while you just try to get them to send a fax, it sucks up so much time and makes me furious. go somewhere else if you have anxiety problems because this routine is not helpful.

Nate Olson

I've been going for years. Shea and James have been great.

Their billing hasn't always been perfect but we have always been able to work it out. We have been using them for several of their services over the past six months and have had wonderful experiences with various aspects of their business. This week they were able to get a prescription issue fixed with the pharmacy in under 24 hours that took the pharmacy 2 weeks to deal with, and thanks to their prompt addressing of the issue we didn't have to deal with a lapse in medication over a holiday weekend. They have been flexible and willing to work with our changing schedules, the front staff and our regular providers feel like friends - and it feels like they actually care about their patients. I can't say enough about how great they have been, and they have earned our business for life - we will always come to them first.

Bailey Jacquet

I have never felt the need to warn people about an establishment, but this is more than likely the worst possible place to receive "care" in the state. Truly a company that can't spend the time to pretend to care whether they help patients or not. I went here for far too long. Psychiatrists ignore pharmacy's requests for refills. Never found a medication that stabilized my mood and felt scrutinized every time I came in. Tried multiple therapists here as well and received judgmental individuals who have NO place in the healthcare industry--ESPECIALLY mental healthcare. One obvious example of the money-hungry establishment this place is would be their fees. A no-show or late cancellation fee is SIXTY DOLLARS. Now not showing up to an appointment is not a good thing, but we are human. There is also no way to waive the fee. You could be desperately short on cash and need assistance, but you would not be allowed to see your provider unless you pay the fee in full. Any institution that attempts to better the lives of their patients will also have fees, but never that expensive. All in all, save yourself and your pockets the time and trouble and go ANYWHERE else.

M Hayes

Dr Miller was a godsend! We'd been to 2 other psychiatrists before we found him. He was so quick to respond to emails when I needed his help. My young son really liked him. Wait time in the office was never more than 5 minutes. We made huge headway in my sons treatment for both ADD & Bi-polar because of him. Even after moving out of state he helped us until we got into a local psychiatrist. He's a gem & if you need an amazing psych for a child he is the man!

Aaron M

If you need a pre authorization done they say it takes two weeks, which is a joke for a company that small. They have messed up billing several times and I tried to work with someone over the phone and was treated terribly. I had gone through 3 doctors due to turnover. Possibly due to the inempness of their support staff. I hope the owner is aware of the toxic work environment going on there and cleans house. Do not go here.

Dallin Sagendorf

This place is a complete joke. Before you can even see a psychiatrist you have to talk to a therapist who has no idea what he is doing. Then they tell you a psychiatrist can't see you for over a month. Every appointment I went to I had to wait over 15 minutes to be seen but then the one time I was 5 minutes late I was told I couldn't be seen due to my being late and I would have to reschedule another month out. Dr Newman doesn't care about his patients and spends little to no time talking about what's going on and just shoves prescriptions in your face to get you to leave.

Max Curtis

This place is run and owned by a absolutely detestable human being. No warnings for policy changes, treats his workers unfairly and therefore his clients unfairly. Avoid this place at all costs

Danielle Palmer

Not kid friendly office! We needed a child evaluation. This office asked me to bring my entire family of four children so they could observe play. Instead, they put us all on one room with nothing to do except what I brought them, and took my son in for individual evaluation for an entire hour. By the end of the hour I wanted to pull my hair out and that was when she asked to see them play together but my other kids (one already diagnosed, and they knew it) were completely uncooperative by that time so we just ended up playing a single board game with him. After everything I ended up with a gigantic bill, and nothing but a recommendation for parenting classes! If you are looking for an office to help a child with autism or add, this office is not it! They simply do not know how to adequately evaluate a child and it is a waste of time, energy, and money on all levels.

Kristeen Taylor

You guys, I'm so mad, and upset with this place. My teenage daughter had been going here for a few months seeing Dr Jeff K. She had a panic attack last night which brought on some serious effects that led us to take her to the ER. today I tried to get a hold of her counselor to try to get advice, and his help with this extremely serious emergency. I had to leave a message because he was in a session with a patient. I never got a returned phone call, so I called back, he left for the day!!! Just left!!!! This is a extremely scary situation and he couldn't take 2 minutes out of his day to help my teenage child?! I'm so mad, and heartbroken for her. Now I have to find a different counselor for my daughter during a seriously rough time. Needless to say. I DO NOT recommend this place. I even tried to get his boss to give me a call. I got nothing.

Rose

They charged me $156 for a no show, when i called 5 days ahead of time to cancel my appointment. They said thier notes said i called to cancel with a doctor "i didn't even have an appointment with". I told them thier notes were wrong but they wouldn't listen to me. I called and canceled for the doctor i DID have an appointment with. Duh. So now they wont fill my perspectivon until i pay that no shiw fee. Very

This facility will not only misdiagnose and hinder treatment, but you'll go in circles endlessly about billing. They are not upfront about charges and continually add more, even after indicating that something has been paid in full and there is nothing left to bill. Try the University or Intermountain psychiatry if you can. I've been extremely impressed by both, as they are far more capable of aiding patients.

Julia B.

I had been seen by one of their medication management MD's for close to 3 years. Never had too many problems directly relating to my diagnosis which I've had since 1993, things for the most part, were under control. However, when help was actually needed, the Doctor couldn't even recognize a full blown episode/ relapse coming on, due to, a medication side effect and stated he was limited and could not even help to fill out ADA STD Leave paperwork for my job because the alternate medication he wanted to put me on would have not actually treated my specific symptoms. Had the office actually followed through on retaining my historical records as I had given authorization to do so twice, they would have known that. Not only did I lose 2 months pay and I am now in jeopardy of ultimately losing my job, as well, because my claim was denied. I could go on and on to describe all of the reasons, but, I will just leave it at that. Where was the treatment plan when you really needed it especially in a sudden, unexpected, emergency situation? There was none! I am quite disappointed to say the least. Perhaps, you can understand what I mean.

Diane McKinstry

Was diagnosed with moderate to severe ADHD by their staff. Am seeing a therapist at their clinic as well. But they have one nurse that treated me with utter condescension and refuses to treat me for my disorder and her boss ( whom I have never met ), she said, agrees with her. Their motto should not be we can help it should read we might if we like you. Will never reccomend this place to anyone.

Halsey Harper

This place is great, all of the doctors are great! It is very clean and the people are very professional. They do their best to get patient's in to see a doctor. I would recommend this awesome place to anyone.

Stephanie Wellman

The doc I'm seeing is fine, but this place is an unorganized cluster. If you have other choices go elsewhere

Todd Soltys

Stay away! I had an appointment with Jeff K. Waited an hour in the office, and he never bothered to show up! The receptionist said they had no idea where he was. PATHETIC! Follow up 2 weeks later I contacted the clinic, and they said Jeff K only rents space from them, does not work for the clinic. Also said he is not the best at following up with emails, or phone calls. TERRIBLE DOCTOR!!! Thats horrible that the clinic has reservations about this guy!!!

James Jarrard

Comprehensive Psychological Services sets the bar incredibly low for their self-described pride in a "tradition of excellence." Perhaps there wouldn't be such a public stigma surrounding mental illness if the providers and staff of a mental health facility took the work they do seriously. After spending hours of my time completing tests, visiting with mental health professionals, et al, I have yet to hear one word regarding their evaluation of the exams I've taken. Polite emails for updates ignored. Calls for information brushed aside, feigned apologies notwithstanding. That the Google reviews of this overpriced, mediocre clinic are averaged at 2.4 stars speaks volumes. However, I'm impressed at their diligent and timely work to bill insurance and patients for their time, collecting as much revenue as possible. If providers worked as hard as their billing department did, barriers to care could actually be removed, and individuals might actually be on the right track to a stable mental condition. But that doesn't seem to be their mission, as evidenced by this and countless other negative reviews. The most unfortunate part in all this is almost every primary care provider refers mental evaluations out to Comprehensive Psych Services - and since individuals seeking mental health services are already attempting to navigate a complex maze to care while mentally or physically unwell - you really don't have much of a choice but to receive sub-par care here. To you I say good luck. I am giving them one more week before I file an official complaint to the Utah Department of Health, among others. In short: I went to them for help, and they haven't done a single thing but bill me.

Heather George.

I have been seeing Dr Jeff K for a while now, and for the first time I can say I've been making exceptional progress in my recovery from past abuse and traumas. I have been to a few different therapist and never really felt like I was being listened to or understood, but with Dr K, I feel like he understands and cares. He's not somebody who will agree with you just to appease you, he will call you out in a very caring manner when he needs to. He provides exceptional insight, and wonderful coping skills that everyone could benefit from. Overall I have not a single bad thing to say about this facility or Dr K.

Matt Ream

Don't go here. There are so many other options. Dr. Szykula was such a cold person and I was uncomfortable my whole visit. Apparently I'm not the only one that has had trouble with billing. I got charged 3 times for one visit and when I tried to clear things up over the phone the lady was rude and completely unapologetic. Seems like false charges might be this place's specialty. On top of the terrible patient care, the front desk people are disorganized and you end up waiting forever! Save yourself a headache and some money by going somewhere else.

Jonathan Fairbanks

Horrible experience: Staff provided inaccurate information about minors and parental consent for the second visit. Even though present, Comprehensive Psychological Services charged me for a "late cancellation." I tried to call their office to discuss but they prefer to communicate by email according to their telephone message. Ironically the invoice has a telephone option for contact. Based on the negative reviews I can only imagine why they only communicate via email. I am going to file a complaint with the State.

Lauren Anderson

I have been to 5 different clinics and Comprehensive Psych was the best by far! It’s rare when you find a facility with that many people who genuinely care about your well being. The front desk is always so helpful and the various providers I’ve seen here through the years are kind and thoughtful. I will never go anywhere else.

Megan Stapley

So disappointed. Don’t waste your time or money. They called me and told me that my appointment was cancelled the morning of after I had already taken off work just to come in to them, and had to wait a month to get in to the doctor I needed, and then charged me after I called and told them I would not be coming in to see the 2nd doctor due to the large commute that I would be making for a 10 min appointment. They then proceeded to charge me for not coming to the appointment! They cancelled on me hours before my appointment and still expected me to come.I don’t have the time or money to continue wasting on these people. The doctors seem great, so if you have all the time and money in the world to waste then go here. Especially if you like to go somewhere that cares about money more than about their patients.

Chris Maughan

I had a long happy history with Comp Psych, then we needed another kid tested for ADD. Testing for ADHD cost $950, I'm not kidding. It would be another $200 for him to actually get a prescription. One day we were there for 45 minutes and were charged $150 for testing and $175 for '60 minutes psychological therapy' (he only took a test, again, only there for 45 minutes!). The two tests he took were billed at $150 each, then another $150 each for evaluating. We have seen Catherine Ortega for years for another kid's ADHD, and I really, really like her. Getting the second kid evaluated was a huge ordeal that we're still trying to work out with the billing department 10 months later. I'm not fighting paying, I just can't get a straight answer for what I owe and what it's for. Billing is a mess. Stay far, far, far away from comp psych. We've changed doctors because of this. 5/3/2018

I have been going to this office for over a year now. The only person in the front that cared at all to treat me or my mother with respect has since left. Now we are left with women who don't care whether or not I am given the help I need. They rarely let us know important information regarding my appointments, and are insulting when it comes time to pay. I have been going for over a year but continue to treat me and other patients like numbers rather than people. This is quite easily the worst I have ever been treated at what is supposed to be a professional establishment. The only reason I continue to go there is for my therapist and psychiatrist, who are both lovely people and whom I will continue to go to (Dr. Neuman and Dr. Llewellyn). Regardless, absolutely deplorable behavior from the front desk. If you can find somewhere else to get the help you need, DO NOT go here.

Joni Russell

Catherine Ortega PA does not care about her patients. she requires you to see her every 2 months just to get your medications. Save you money and find some place else. Catherine Ortega PA just wants your money she doesn't care..... I went to an appointment and didn't have the full amount by 20 dollars she turned me away and then charged me 60 dollars. I work in the medical field and this is NOT how you treat a patient. I emailed and called 2 weeks ago and she just avoided me. great job Catherine Ortega PA for losing a patient you didn't even care about Catherine Ortega PA Catherine Ortega PA Catherine Ortega PA is not someone you should see

I have never had one single issue with the front desk. Keep in mind, most people going to this place are depressed, anxious, bipolar, angry, miserable, and could easily be misreading the ladies at the front desk and projecting their own issues onto them...or they are just miserable people who hate life and the world. I LOVE Dr. Currier. He saved my life. The only thing I haven't been completely impressed with is their marriage counselors. We tried three of them there, and while they were super nice and professional and tried to help, they just didn't connect well with us. Besides that, this place has the best psychiatrist in UT, and his name is Nathan Currier!!!!!

Java Joe

One of the most unethically run mental health facilities I've ever been too. Over charge for everything and give misinformation on in and out of network providers for different insurance companies. Billed my insurance company 150 dollars for a 30 minute counseling session. Also billed 250 dollars for a psychiatrist I never saw. The billing department is rude and unapologetic. The front desk staff is very inefficient and lack knowledge and skills on even the most simple questions. Horribly run facility save your money and time and go to a different provider. I recently only went to this facility for a med maintenance since I'd already had initial evaluation completed elsewhere. They said their policy no matter what your medical history was is to have you see a LCSW and a PA. Two separate bills too. That facility is nothing but a money hungry place exploiting people's mental health concerns. I've also been given psychological testing in the lobby at this facility. Totally not in best practice for mental health standards. Never go to this place they are a pathetic excuse for mental health care!

Charlie Plante

I run a group home and several of my clients require medication. These people would come to my group home to write prescriptions. I have had nothing but problems trying to get a hold of someone to get their refills. I have tried to contact someone for two weeks by phone. They do not return phone calls, and I've had to drive to the place twice and each time was treated like I didn't matter, and the receptionist is extremely rude. When I did get an answer back (four days after I have run out of medication), they told me to have the pharmacy call they would refill their medication. The pharmacist told me he called 3 times in a 3 hour period and got no answer. This place is a joke, I would warn anyone about going to them with any mental health issues.

Melissa Griffith

Created a bigger problem. Billing was a joke. Told several times we didn't owe anything, then suddenly hit with a 450 dollar bill I didn't have the money sitting around for. Explained that to them, and it was turned over to collections almost immediately. The counseling was not very helpful either. Would not recommend at all.

Bryan Parker

This Is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! -Lemongrab

David Ward

I have had a perfectly good experience with their providers. Unfortunately, the front desk staff and other support staff are worthless. When my physician had to delay my appointment a week due to vacation, I reached the front desk staff and explained that I would run out of meds in the meantime. They asked me to have a refill request faxed in. I did so. I confirmed with front desk staff that they received it. Four days later, they've done nothing with it. After several similar experiences, I will likely be looking elsewhere despite the fact that I like my doctor.

Tracy Strohm

Unfortunately, both females that I saw here (one time only)-were not friendly, one was not engaged making me feel like I was a bother and the psychiatric PA came across as very defensive, and almost threatened by me as another woman. Very unprofessional. I'm fairly certain the counselors and psychiatrists that work there need mental health therapy themselves. This is NOT a place to seek help, furthermore after you hand them you're hard earned money you will likely be treated as if they are doing you a favor and seeing you for FREE. I just spent $168 to be treated like garbage. Unbelievable.

Aaron Bruderer

To be fair, it's hard to rate this place as a whole because it's really more of a timeshare for therapists. It seems like most of the psychs people praise in reviews (Dr. Neuman et al.) are no longer there. Counselors schedule rooms a couple days a week and benefit from umbrella billing and insurance checking and other resources. The problem with that is, in my experience with two therapists there, they just aren't around enough for effective therapy. They go out of town a lot, and their schedules are only a day or two a week. So you'll be seen sporadically and on average twice a month. You also only get 45-minute sessions that are sandwiched in back-to-back with no time for notes in-between, and they're always running late. (That's the nature of the industry.) So you'll be rushed out the door after 40 minutes, and you won't really get quality progress notes done on your behalf. That's not how therapy works; that's ineffective therapy. The quality of care you receive is also dependent upon the rapport and specific match you might have with your therapist. However, the first therapist I saw had phone calls from her kids during most of our sessions. She didn't answer, but it was very distracting. She took copious notes, but I don't think she ever reviewed them, and I spent a lot of time repeating myself. There was one session she didn't listen to me at all because she was fighting with her laptop issues and didn't want to write them down or do her notes later. She also listed herself as "Dr." but her PhD is in some unrelated field, which is against ethical guidelines. And the gist of her advice after eight sessions over fourteen weeks was, 'So? Get over it. What do you want from me?' I started seeing another therapist there who seems better (four sessions thus far), but again is unavailable due to scheduling snafus. She scheduled me for a session while she was out of town, so I showed up but she wasn't there. And her next available was two weeks later because she was full from being out of town. This happened with my other psych too. She mis-scheduled, then was sick, then was out of town, then wasn't in the office for Pioneer Day. I don't want to wait a month between sessions when I have new developments to talk about; I'd rather a reliable therapist. Every time I go in, there are three people behind the desk, and none of them seem to know what's going on. They're very slow to address people in the lobby, and I get the impression they don't have the tools or authority to really do anything. When you call, you're told to press 0 for the front desk, but that goes to a voicemail that nobody checks. Stay on the line after the long menu prompts. My formal education is in business, and this seems like a management problem. It's the sort of thing where management doesn't want to know what goes on until the bottom line is affected, and when it is, they have no clue why. They're not sure about insurance amounts and insist you overpay then they'll pay you back when they figure it out. They don't believe me when I tell them what my copay should be. I have a credit with them I'm not sure I'll get back anytime soon. I'm very close to going somewhere else, but I don't want to start over a third time. I suggest you don't bother here. You'll likely have headaches from overbilling insurance and problematic scheduling. Just go somewhere else from the start so you don't have to waste your time first.

Dr. Newman is a good Psychologist to work with. He probably helped me more than he even realized. However sometimes I wish he could have walked a mile in my shoes just once, and realized everything I was going through. I gave it my best shot, and I pray every night I will make it through on my own. It made me sad to know he didn’t care about me anymore than others in my life. Threw me to the curb just like a lot of others. It just goes to show I’m as worthless as I always knew I was.

James Hayward

Worst place ever. I did the biofeedback here and it literally ruined my life and made my problems a million times worse. Then they are trying to take me to court over 300 dollars. I think its great because I will be suing them for malpractice. The guy performing the biofeedback is experimenting on people and has no idea what he's doing. DO NOT GO HERE. Unless you want to be worse off than before.

I continue to be impressed with Dr Neuman and this clinic! I have found this Doctor to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and kind! I'd highly recommend him and this group!

Ryan Raschelle

It just depends on who you see. I had one Dr. Who couldn't care less about me which lead to medication that was harmful then I saw a dr who put more thought into my healthcare and pays close attention to my medication. Therapists, I had one who would stare at the clock the whole session and cut me off from talking the minute it was over. Then I saw different one same office just like the other Drs and she was amazing and caring (I've been going to this office for about 4 years now)

Dallin Walkenhorst

At one time they had a extremely good prescribing doctor by the name of DR. Aslami. now all they have Dr. Neuman, he has terrible bed side mannor and he cuts you off when your talking. if you need a prescribing Dr., GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! oh btw. if you show up late to an appointment they will charge you 130 dollars.

Last year I paid $750 for a psych evaluation for my 14 yr old. Lindsey Barlow PhD administered the test-partially, with the help of the front staff. One computer stopped working and no one checked on my daughter until she texted me and I had to track someone down to restart the computer. The written summary had a questionable IQ and Lindsey stated to me “If we were looking at an older patient I would say the results show early dementia....she scored for extreme memory decline.” Ms. Barlow recommended that my daughter see a neurologist for further brain testing. This was all very alarming and did not fit the smart girl we had raised. ( At 14 years she could read a 325 page novel in 2.5 hours with exceptional recall) .I sent the results to a different child psychologist for a second opinion and he reviewed the results and stated the only obvious issue was her anxiety. I soon found out that Lindsey Barlow was an intern so I called the director of CPS and left him a voice mail with my concerns. When a professional tells you your 14 yr old is presenting with “dementia” symptoms it is scary. Upon her recommendation we took our daughter to a pediatric neurologist at Primary Children’s (another huge expense) and he tested her as well as his resident and both said there was nothing wrong with her brain or memory and that she just needed some strategies to deal with her anxiety. Because she struggles with math we requested another evaluation through the school district. The results show that our daughter has a “superior” memory, above average reading and recall skills and a manageable disability with math concepts. I am very disappointed with Comprehensive Psyc Services, their testing and evaluation were inaccurate and the delivery was unprofessional. The results wasted a great deal of money for us and created much confusion and concern for our family. The director never responded to my concerns either.

I have been seeing Dr. Neuman for over three years and have nothing but great things to say about him. He has helped me find the correct medications and it feels like he genuinely cares about his patients. Sometimes he is running late, but to me that shows that he passionate about helping his patients and if they need some extra time he is willing to provide it. I have never had any problems with getting medications filled in a timely manner.

Okay, I was going to hold my review from the first disaster at this clinic. But then, I thought I should go back and try again because I needed to see my doctor. It was absolutely as bad. The scheduling/front office/billing staff is worthless at best. They don't care about their patients at all. If you want to feel worse than you did before you went here then these guys are for you. They show absolutely no regard for your time or care. Very disappointing. I let them know, and their attitude is one of "oh well, go f*** yourself". So sad. Don't they understand that they are dealing with peoples mental health? Not working at a cable call center? I would NEVER suggest anyone go here. Ever.

Had nothing but good experiences with them. The first therapist I made an appointment with mistakenly thought he could take my insurance, and when I got there and found out he didn’t, he offered me the session at what I would have paid if my insurance had covered him. He got me set up with someone new ASAP, and I have been seeing Cindy for almost two months who has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about my life and the unique situations in it. The front desk has always been extremely helpful and cheerful, and Dr. Neuman was polite and thoughtful when recommending the correct medication for me. From reviews, I can tell not everyone has had the same experience I have, but I hope more people do, as this place and the people who work there have changed my life.

Don't expect the staff to answer the phone unless you are trying to get to billing. Messages left in the "general mail box" won't necessarily be returned. Poor communication.

Dr. Szykula is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and efficient. He is the only doctor I've ever been to that truly listens. I highly recommend him and his staff to everyone.

I have known these fine people for twenty five years. We have used their services off and on with different counselors for various situations that have arisen in our family during that time. I would highly recommend their staff.

The worst. Brenda is a horrible therapist. Loopy and spacey. Never seen to focus. Took my kid to about 10 sessions and she NEVER offered any techniques or solutions. She basically listen to us talk for an hour and twiddled her thumbs or told us a personal story of how she has problems. On top of that they over charged me as they kept my child on the appt even though we stopped going and wouldn't refund it proving they only care about money, not about you. You be worse of for going... Go to Beehive Psychological services, way better. PS Look at the other 1 stars they got. Not just me.

I have had an amazing experience with Comprehensive Psychological. The receptionists are cheerful, helpful and always able to assist. I was interested in receiving Neuro Therapy for migraine headaches and sleep issues. The therapy was extremely helpful. My migraines reduced from 2-4 times monthly lasting 2 to 5 days each, to more of maybe a monthly migraine that was much less severe and lasted 1/2- to 1 day. My sleep has extended into a deep, full night sleep. I also worked with Steve Szykula during this time and found him to be exceptionally insightful and easy to communicate with.

I was told both through email and when I walked in for my first appointment that CPS accepts my specific health insurance plan. Two weeks after my second appt. I get a bill for $200 in the mail, which I then contacted CPS billing saying my insurance covered none of it and there must be some mistake. The billing manager Jamie essentialy said "not our concern, contact your insurance company". Well I did exactly that and they said CPS is not affiliated with my insurance plan. I was lied to and it cost a lot. Do not get involved with this company.

Love Dr. Currier. Reception is always very sweet as well. Love this office.

I love Sam Szykula and his amazing life changing performance with neurofeedback! Sam has literally saved my life wife using the proper neurofeedback settings to have my panic attacks stop and to be able to use serotonin products once again! The other staff is great as well and most are as amiable and congenial as Sam!

I have been going to this practice for over a year now, and I have really enjoyed my experience working with LeeAnne Hess. She has been very understanding and has provided me with quite a bit of good advice and resources. She isn't one of those counselors who will confront you if they feel that you are being "stupid". I had a counselor (about 6 years ago) who continuously questioned me on whether or not I loved my husband after I was trying to come to terms with his one-night stand that he had with another woman. Yes, I did a lot of complaining, but I didn't have any friends and I needed someone to vent to. So instead of realizing that I needed to vent, she used it as an opportunity to try to get me to divorce my husband. Totally not helpful. Of course I still loved him. Would I have gone to marriage counseling for 7 months with him if I hadn't? Would he have gone to marriage counseling with me if he hadn't still loved me? No. Of course not. Honestly. The only down side with CPS was that at the beginning I had some issues with their billing department where they said I owed more than I did because they hadn't applied my most recent co-pays to my account. However, that issue hasn't happened in almost a year. The only other bad thing is that when you see someone at the Granger office, you can't pay your copay there. So you have to pay two copays the next time you are in the SLC office.
