Maria's promoted every lie my boyfriend told, promoted his abuse cycle, and I'm paying for it daily.

Marissa is the only person at this facility even worth my time. She's great. With THAT said, here was my experience: You can never get ahold of anyone. They must not believe in a receptionist, because I have never in over a year, had anyone answer the phone. It's extremely inconvenient for those of us who work overnight/graves to leave a message and NEVER get a follow up. Horrible system, stop being cheap and hire a desk worker. Easy. Anyway, I was assigned a counselor and had one or two sessions. Not enough to have an opinion either way, but after telling her that I am partially dissociated during most therapy sessions and even regular conversations (with people I'm not familiar/comfortable with) she seemed to think I wasn't an EMDR candidate...despite me having great success for years beforehand with EMDR. So, that was a red flag. One day I showed up for my appointment and was told my counselor had went on some mission out of the country. They never notified me or anything, not until I was there, that day, after a 12 hour shift, in the waiting room. Then they, publicly in that waiting room in front of other bewildered patients, informed me I'd need a new therapist and asked if I had a male/female preference and what I was being treated for. Jesus Christ, talk about putting someone on the spot. They chose someone then and there, and the assigned counselor came and sat out in the waiting room to introduce himself to me and set something up. Do you have any idea how awkward that is between two people, let alone in front of onlookers? Sorry but I'm just not into everyone in the waiting room knowing my personal business. You should have considered my privacy as anyone in the healthcare business SHOULD have known to do. I cancelled the appointment they set up for that and absolutely will not return.

I have been seeing Maria Skedros since June 2017 and I hesitate to even share her info because you know how sometimes when you find something so amazing you don't even want to share because you want it all to yourself? Yah, that's how I feel about her, lol. In the few months that I have been seeing her, I have made more progress on my issues than I ever have with any other counselor. She has helped me with my struggles and feelings about motherhood (my brutally honest feelings that I would never admit to anyone else), my insecurities and personal self esteem issues in my marriage, my struggles with letting go of my past, my anger and frustration with my addict brother, the death of my mother and father, and more. You name it, we've discussed it. I've told her things I have never told anyone else. Her frank and honest, yet compassionate observations have been what I've needed. She's helping me realize that I'm actually a good person. I'm not the failure and unworthy person my brains tells me I am. I still struggle with it and I probably always will but I finally am seeing and feeling some confidence in myself that I've never had. A couple of weeks ago I told her that I was going to have to start making up issues just so I could continue to see her, lol. I am not writing this review because anyone requested that I do this. She doesn't even know I am writing this. I am writing this because she has made a positive impact in my life and I am so grateful for her.

Diana Torrino

Diana has been so far wonderful with my son! The only problem is the office! They do not return phone calls and not trained properly. I have seen them break HIPPA polices! They are keeping my son's records hostage!

Jenna Blakeslee

My counselor is absolutely amazing. I would recommend Diana to anyone. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is it is very hard to get hold of anyone at the front office. They very rarely answer their phones.

Sarah Taveira

I see APRN Marissa, it is a convenient location for me and everyone is nice.

E Wickersham

I am so grateful for the services of this counseling center. There are many wonderful therapists who have provided positive support.

Noah Mackenzie

Had one appointment here not good. Receptionist unwilling and unable to give directions to the office. No big deal. Waiting room filled with patients. No privacy. Sarhadi likeable but failed miserably at facilitating my prescription management needs. Normally see a physician from Stanford. Far cry from that experience. Just saying. Not a professional or pleasurable appointment. Next.

Tawni Nguyen

The absolute worst communication system ever. You can call, leave a voicemail, text and there will ever a response.

Fiona Maguire

THEY DO NOT FOLLOW HIPPA LAWS, counselors are nice it is the office. Please do not go here. Reporting them to the state!

Cheryl Brown

Just what I needed.
