Very nice staff. Try to get appointments set up way ahead of time as it fills up fast. I have not had any issues here and the person I bring here loves the counselor.

*** update*** Amy, the office manager reached out to me and set up my daughter with another session, comped. My daughter had a good session and she has a follow up appointment set. ------------------- Horrible experience. We made an appointment over two weeks ago and got a call 8 hours before the appointment to be tools they change the time to 30 minutes before the original time. That's fine, we can handle 30 minutes. Was told the time was the only change. Drive from where we live, downtown, to the medical center for the appointment. We get there and check in, the lady at the front goes oh yeah I called you for the change. Then proceeds to tell me the location moved as well as the time....to the downtown location. I got upset. Had she told us that when she called, we roulette not had driven across town. She then proceeded to argue with me that she had. Poor customer experience! We cancelled the appointment and will go somewhere else. If the receptionist is argumentive, I can't imagine the counselor.

My counselor is great (Andrea Cox) I'm having less symptoms, almost none. I've been going to counseling on and off for 4 months now. Didn't have a visit in December looking forward to my Juanury apt. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars is front desk staff. I was overcharged one visit and the girl kept saying over and over anything with mental health is this amount it's considered a specialist. I was thinking she should of said behavioral health at the least. I had to tell her multiple times and she was like your insurance had it wrong last time, you might get a bill, etc. I ended up receiving credit when it was sorted out. The office manager was able to resolve my concerns. Another time I wrote the apt time exactly in my phone when setting the apt, asked for off in advance 2 weeks prior and then got an email for another day. I called to tell them what was going and the girl was like well I don't know where the error came from if you wrote down wrong or we got it wrong. Extremely inconvenient.

When I had called earlier to make an appt, I specifically asked for an individual that I knew was covered by my insurance. But when I got there, they were going to give me another counselor instead. And I probably would have been better off with that counselor but I know that my insurance nit picks everything. So when I went with the counselor I asked for, I think she seemed a little annoyed. And the experience i had probably wasn't as good as it could have been. I think i might want to try again, but definitely a different counselor.. Even if my insurance doesn't cover it!

I like the price compared to other places but will it kill them to actually answer the phone every now and then and after a session, refer psychiatric help that ACTUALLY does their job???

I wish I could keep them negative star. we make appointment almost three months ago for testing we are coming today and find out they wanna make it wrong appointment instead of testing they made our appointment for therapy. the lady at the front desk just say sorry because they hiring a third-party who answered the phone call and make appointment for the clients. They already collected my money for not doing anything.

My counselor went on maternity leave without saying when she'd be back. I was never informed that she was back. I guess it was her way of telling me she didn't want to see me. Damn good thing I'm not suicidal. It took a lot for me to go see her in the first place. Being rejected by your counselor really doesn't help the self esteem at all.

I submitted a form on their website to get in touch with me for potential services for my son. It’s been 3 days and not even an email or phone call. Extremely disappointed that no contact has been made. I will look elsewhere for services.

My experience here was great. Scheduling an appointment was quite easy and my daughter was scheduled with Teri Johnson 2 days later. The pricing was fair, I paid for 4 sessions so far and the behaviors I was concerned with have since improved.

The counselors we see are awesome. The front desk staff used to be awesome and friendly as well. Lately not so much. It took me 20 minutes to schedule an appointment last time because I had to keep explaining to the unprofessional girl what day and time worked best for us. In the end I settled for a time that was inconvenient just to get out of there. She was too busy with her side conversation to pay full attention to who she was talking to (me). I believe she's new, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but I will not go to her to schedule my next appointment.

I had a hard time finding the center. Address said medical center but took me to different location. Once I found the center, I was Impressed with this Counseling center. Front desk was helpful and she was always smiling. My sons Counselor was great. She was sweet and kind. I was hesitant coming here but I'm satisfied.

We have a great group of expert therapists! Our staff is wonderful as well. I recommend it for all ages and for all needs. We specialize in CBT, DBT, play therapy, marriage counseling etc.

I thought I would leave a review because, as most of us know, most satisfied customers don’t think about leaving a review. BUT, I was so impressed with this Counseling center where I originally took my kids but now also attend for myself. The counselors I have experienced (we see three, one for each kid and my own) are professional, kind, and go above and beyond to help us with the difficult circumstances we are overcoming. They were able to see us after school and on Saturdays so my girls didn’t miss too much school and I didn’t miss work. I HIGHLY recommend this center if you or a loved one needs support during a difficult time!! (PS no one asked me to write this review!! I am just so thankful my girls are doing so well!!)

Looking for a new therapist and came across SACBC because of the high rating. Unfortunately I went to SACBC about 3 years ago during pregnancy for depression. They have different counselors so I did my research and found the one I thought would be a perfect match, when I get there they send me into the counseling room with a lady I didnt scheduled with. They didn’t even notify me just threw me in there with a DR. I didn’t not want. Therapy ended up being horrible. The Dr. looked at me really ugly and was of no help!! I hate to do bad reviews but hope to help someone with this one.

If I could give a negative star I would. I've been calling to confirm my appointment but no answers. I stopped by the clinic to only find out my appointment was MOVED to a different location. There were TWO people in the front and when I asked why it was moved and who moved it, they didn't answer me, they refused to reschedule my appointment and gave me a card telling me to call the number. This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional and I will never come back or recommend this place!

First of all, note that the five star reviews have been made by employees of this counseling center. My experience with this place was horrendous. My initial appointment was with a woman who, throughout the entire appointment, proceeded to point out all of the flaws in the way I had presented myself (voice rising and falling due to anxiety, unsettled hands due to anxiety, all of which were the reasons I was there, things that I was aware of, and was seeking help for, not to have them condescendingly pointed out to me). Following this, I had two appointments scheduled that my counselor did not actually retrieve me from the waiting area, and never met with him. This is unacceptable behavior for someone who is supposed to provide counseling services, particularly if I had been in a crisis at the time, which, thankfully, I was not. After each of these instances, I called the center and left messages expressing my displeasure with not being seen and that because I had presented to my appointment and was not seen, I would not be paying for those sessions, which were never returned. 2 months later, I received a bill for $150. Once again I called, never spoke to an actual human, and did not receive a call back. I attempted to call again, spoke to someone, and was informed that they would have to call me back. Still waiting on that call back. I have since found another provider with a different practice who is more than capable of meeting my needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING ANYONE IN THIS PRACTICE.
