I really benefited from my time on individual counseling, and left better able to take ownership of my role in family problems, and learned to set boundaries. I returned here for premarital counseling with Audra, and we loved it. She picked well-researched literature for us to read, asked insightful questions, and gave honest assessments of our strengths and our weaknesses. Especially of you want a Christian approach to counseling, this place is so amazing. I must say though that they do not file with insurance companies; instead, clients pay upfront, but they will provide receipts that you can use to file on your own if you want. I felt the cost was reasonable and didn't end up bothering to file (premarital counseling wasn't covered on my insurance anyway.)

I had to give one star because they wouldn't let me give zero. This was the worst counseling experience I've ever had in my whole life. The counselor was unprofessional, unethical, and completely bias. She was constantly interrupting, placing blame, and made me feel so uncomfortable and shameful. I have never been so traumatized by what is supposed to be a safe setting. It was not Christian based at all and basically gave my husband and I no hope. In fact the session made things far worse.

The experience I had at Rush Creek Counseling Center was truly life changing for me in such an awesome and profound way. Healing is possible. Just remember, "You can love Jesus and have a therapist, too!" Don't hesitate to give these skilled, caring professionals a call - it may be the best decision you've made in a long, long time.
