REVIEWS OF Mind Matters PsychiatryMD - Frisco IN Texas

We had to change psychiatrists because my son just wasn’t getting better. Dr. A listened to what was going on, took my concerns as a parent seriously, and changed up his meds. After YEARS of my son being in pain and barely functional, he is back. This has wonderfully impacted my son in all corners of his life, and helped us as a family as well.

They take care of me!

Dr. Adebogun is the best. He has the knowledge and expertise in his field. He has literally helped me get through high school, by perscribing Me the correct medications for over 4 years now! I highly recommend Mind Matters!

Please do not go here. The office staff is very unprofessional and rude. For a physiatrist clinic I would expect nothing, but polite staff.

Gemma Nix

Love the office, it was nice and clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Dr. Adebogun took his time and really listened to me. He even suggested natural vitamins for my preferred holistic approach. Next appointment already on the books. Can't wait to come back! Thank you Mind Matters PsychiatryMD!

12/10 recommend seeing Matthew here. He is a phenomenal psychiatrist that makes a point to work with you to create a plan on stabilizing you and figuring out what medication may work as well. Professional, empathetic, driven, and makes you feel like you actually have someone who WANTS to help you get better- hard to find that nowadays.

Very nice environment and staff. Dr Alvin makes my son feel comfortable and relaxed.

Front office staff and Dr. A are fine. However, they need to improve on their communication and make sure patients know what's going on. 1) The Frisco office is closed most of the time even though it says it's open. I never know when the Frisco office is open. I needed to drop off paper to be signed for school and they were closed. It was urgent so I ended up driving all the way to Flower Mound office. 2) They told us that they no longer accept our insurance 2 weeks AFTER they stopped accepting. 3) They really messed up our appointment. It was scheduled on the day they were closed and I even got an automated reminder 3 days prior. We went and the door was locked. Later found out they were closed due to staff training. No one told us and even after I left a message no one called back.

I was diagnosed with PTSD about 8 years ago from another Dr. And in those 8 years have never had much relief from panic attacks and many sleepless nights. I saw the Dr here yesterday and learned I don't even have PTSD and have been mismedicated all those years. I'm here to tell you for the first time in many years I slept for 10 hours, and I woke up feeling rested and not anxious and can actually take a deep breath. I will never see any other psychiatrist. Not only did he prescribe the right meds but also recommended some natural holistic treatments. He actually listened to me and how I was feeling. Go see this man if your suffering like I was.

I have nothing but wonderful remarks to say about this office. I really enjoyed the laid back staff and the fast response to getting me in quickly. The psychiatrist and the nurse practitioner here are very friendly and knowledgeable . I really loved the beautiful lobby. It certainly didn't feel like doctors office. I would 100% recommend this office. Dr. A is great and really knows his stuff.

I'm so upset. I called this office at 5 today asking if I can come get my sons records was NEVER told they are in flower mound today. Google states they are OPEN in Frisco. The girl on the phone was giggling when I explained that she didnt tell me that like it was a big joke. I was clearly upset. I literally spent 45 mins driving here and will spend another 45 mins heading back home empty handed. I told her to mail them then someone else calls dad and tells him they will be back in Frisco on Monday after I just expressed frustrations and asked them to mail it out. I dont normally bring my child to these visits do I'm not familiar with their hours or locations. I dont normally post on offices but the lack of professionalism in this situation is incredibly irritating and was a HUGE inconvenience to me.
