This place is ridiculous. 2 hour wait times to be seen 3 minutes and everyone makes you feel stupid for being shocked waiting so long. If you have options (unlike myself right now) go elsewhere!

I'm DONE ...I have been complaining about their non- functioning phone system for months. .Honestly, I make at least ten, up to thirty calls, trying to get through, after 27 attempts one time, I FINALLY GOT THROUGH, asked if I was the only client that complained about the system, was rudely answered " we have 7 centers, and we take all the calls here " " I answered, you know what? This is 2017 They have systems designed for 400 centers " She hung up on me. Any organization that calls itself professional in the psychiatric field, and continues to roadblock ALL attempts at communications by their clients is TOO STUPID for words. Of course, I left a voicemail for the office mgr, which was NEVER returned..apparently they DON'T realize that the people calling have mental issues, and are at times DESPERATE TO GET THROUGH...HELL WITH THEM... Of course, I will have to write A LETTER terminating our relationship and requesting my records....I'd like to get through with them by the end of the year....Michael Petry

Dangerous and negligent!! Do not come here if you have any other option! I've had several experiences with this office, and while the nurse practitioner was good, the front office staff was AWEFUL! They are hard to get a hold of, I tried every day for a week and even called 20 times in one day only to be disconnected after being placed in the que. When I finally got in touch with someone after a week of trying, I explained that I had a schedule conflict( I started a new job) and couldn't make it to my appointment this week and asked if the nurse practitioner would refill my rx since it was running out in 2 days. The receptionist told me that my rx couldn't be extended and I would have to come in for an appointment. I even said, "So y'all won't work with me? You just want me to go cold turkey off my meds?" There is no common sense here! Don't get me wrong I know how important the appointment is but if you are starting a new job, you can't just miss several hours the first week. Not only are they hard to get a hold of and ALWAYS running late, which can be incredibly stressful for someone with a mood disorder, they don't care if you go off your meds??? It's very dangerous for someone who is medicated for a mood disorder to just stop taking their medication! They are also contradicting their own website site where they explain that rx requests can be faxed in if you are unable to make your appointment! Thank God for my general practitioner who was willing to work with me, and that I'll have new insurance in a month and won't have to deal with them again!!!

They did not understand the full problem of the patient. They were insisting only on medicine. Did not feel comfortable all. Very disappointed.

Super rude front desk ladies. Makes it very awkward to get help and when having to go through them. They never pick up the phones and when they do I always get hung up on if I get put on hold and I live in Fort Worth so when I need to speak to someone I have to drive all the way there.

This year they have changed my doctor 3 times without notification. The staff up there messes up the dates to my appointments all the time, the card they give you with the date and time says one things but their computer say another. Lately my appointments have been changing or are being canceled and I'm not notified usually until a day or at the most 2 days before. I go without medicine because of it. Not at all impressed with this place but when options are few...this place gets one star from me.

I'm a truck driver and my semi broke down so I had to reschedule my appointment. I didn't have enough medication to last till my next appointment they would do nothing rather me suffer with my depression then give me a refill or my next appointment. You call and they dont answer. They dont care about there patients.

They have the worst front office staff. They seem to never be able to answer your calls and when they do they put you on hold forever, with NO regard to your time and or situation. Right out RUDE, NO PROFFESIONAL ATTITUDE and or General CARE the Medical staff should have.

my daughter sees D.r Dial in the plano office. the office staff is the rudest and most unorganized medical office EVER!!!!!!!!! Dr. Dial is one of the RUDEST doctors i have come across. I dislike her, and my daughter HATES coming to this office. I am the parent and i despise going or making my daughter go. PLEASE, save yourself from hassle and an unpleasant experience. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!! she will tell you one thing and do the complete opposite. talk to you like your dirt and she is a queen. She even made a comment about if I go to medical school then i can make some decisions regarding my daughters medications. I'm , sorry.... this is MY DAUGHTER... I WILL HAVE A SAY!!!!!!! she does not come forth to children in a welcoming tone at all, makes them clam up and put up guard! the staff just SUCKS!!!!!!! I HATE THIS OFFICE

The clinic deals with a lot of low income and medicaid patients. So they have a lot of patients. The staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors and therapists listen to everyone's concerns and try to determine what is the issue at hand. They also are very good connections with other services.

I took my daughter to see the psychiatrist at the center off of 10th street. I asked the Dr. if we could speak in private and not in front of my child. she refused my request and said she was straight forward and could not comply with my request. She did not see us (after I took off from work) and rescheduled us with another Dr. at another location. She seemed very unprofessional and unsympathetic.

I thought that I had finally found the right doctors office when I first started coming to Child & Family Guidance Center, I've had a world wind of bad doctors in the past, and been to some of the best but after my move to Texas I had a hard time finding anyone that cared enough to help. I see Pete for therapy, and he is AMAZING. I have NO complaints there. But I went to get medication refilled on the 30th of April (Dr Sodhi) and she upped my medicine and gave me all 3 prescriptions but I had trouble with the pharmacy and medicaid about my seroquel, They said she "Wrote it wrong" Well I've waited 3 weeks now and called every day even left messages and I was just made aware that she denied the prescription. What are we supposed to do without medication? Isn't that the main goal of seeking professional help with it? They don't want you to self medicate, but won't give you the medicines they prescribe you and make you go without. That is VERY unhealthy, mentally and physically! 5 Stars for therapist Pete, Less than 1 star for Dr. Sodhi until I figure out what is going on.

This place is the most unorganized place. I took my daughter in February for her first appointment. They scheduled it for April 10th. Went to the appointment and they said that we didn't have an appointment. This is uncalled for and a waste of time.

The reason why it takes long for someone to answer the phone is because they only have three people at the Harry Hines location answering phones(but they call it a call center lol)mind you they have 8 different locations that they schedule for. They open at 8 the people that are scheduled to go in at that time don't arrive until 8:15 or so. If you attend a different location and want to speak to someone your better off going up there , they don't answer the phones ,return phone calls. They can't even keep doctor's they quit within months without notice and they call and reschedule people out of nowhere. Therapists also quit that's why it takes months for someone to get assigned to one and if you are out of medication they will not give you a refill they don't care all their going to say is go to the E.R. or give you the # to the after hours clinic. If you "try" to speak to supervisor "not gonna happen " majority of the time they don't wanna hear it and they will tell the CSR to send it to voicemail and of course they won't return your call. Majority of the Harry Hines location is family you have the CSR lead Ana who is over her sister,their two cousins also work there.The female that is over billing is also over her daughter and the person that does medical records and her mom work there. I can go on about this unorganized clinic! I would highly recommend you to seek help elsewhere.

I literally waited on hold for 30 minutes and after speaking to a live person I was sent to voicemail. I've left several messages and I never receive a call back. There is only one number listed for multiple locations. This place is incompetent and pathetic!!

I have been coming here for almost 3 years. These people (especially Suzanne and Dr. Sodhi) know what they are doing in every situation. The more established you become the easier it will be. Communication is key.

I have called these people numerous times and am always on hold my phone call is NEVER answered.!! The times that I have been here I asked about the parent and anger management classes which are 2 of the sole services they provide on their website. I am always told they don't know when the next classes are. (I need to get these done in 1 month) seriously there has to be someone in this building that gives these classes! I had to have my counselor talk them because the office staff is too lazy to do it on their own. They were right on it when my counselor told them to call and find out when and what time these classes were.... Imagine that. 1 phone call, away!! Also I was told fter paying for 2 of my counseling sessions already that it was 10 more bucks than what I had been paying... They need to get their front desk people some training.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning here. I was diagnosed with postpartum depression over a year ago. The location of my previous physician was not working any longer, so I needed to make a switch. After waiting for an hour an a half for my appointment (which is apparently normal, according to the front desk staff), I was finally seen. The doctor was fine, took my history and explained my medications and how they work. I had no issue with her. However, when I was sent to see the caseworker (w/o any explanation why I needed to see a caseworker), I waited another 15 minutes until I could be seen by her. She looked through my file, then asked me what was causing my depression. I explained it was postpartum, and she literally asked me what reason I have to be depressed, since I just had a baby and it's supposed to be joyful. My first thought was, "Yeah, no s!#t, Sherlock. Why else do you think I'm here?" It takes enough courage and energy to even go to the doctor for help, and it is absolutely unacceptable for staff to shame a patient for their mental illness. I will not be returning.

This office is so unorganized, i always call to schedule appointments and they ALWAYS HANG UP ON ME. When i call back all they say sorry that was not me which i know by their voices. The harry hines locations is horrible do not go there!!!

I just called to get an appointment and the young lady who answered the phone was rude and not helpful at all. I'm sure the doctors are wondering why patients aren't making to them it's because of the people answering the phone!

I appreciate the service provided by this organization. When my son had an issue as a child, they helped him greatly and hooked us up with speech & occupational therapists as well. Now due to a change in insurance I am back, and yes the office is busy, and yes sometimes there is a wait.. But I have been treated kindly and effectively, more than I can say for my prior care provider.

They have been nothing but helpful, my son is seen by a Dr. there and they have gone above and beyond any doctor that we have ever been to. The staff is helpful and they are really on top of their job! I totally recommend this place!

After waiting two hours to be seen Dr. Kumon only took 10 mins with my son and just wrote out a prescription. I was really hoping this place was gonna help my son cope with his Add but sadly they did not. I have recently changed to a different facility and highly suggest you look elsewhere before taking your child here. The receptionists are very rude and act like its inconvenience for them to help you.

So I made an appointment for my son almost a month ago they called me to confirm his appointment so I confirmed it they even sent me a text message which I confirmed as well my husband and I both took the morning off to be with our son I walk in gave my child's name and waited for a minute receptionist then tells me the Dr that was supposed to see my child was fired a few days ago I'm looking at her like ok so there's no one else here to see him she was like well I can see what we can do so basically in a nutshell they were not able to see my son and didn't have the courtesy to call me to reschedule this place is very unprofessional not very considerate it was horrible and I will not be taking my son there again

I am bi polar patient with severe panic attacks. This doctors office has allowed me to go without my medications for over two months. They replaced my old pyschiatrist with a new one and did not call me and tell me. Then they make me an appointment that is over a month away and won't renew my prescriptions leaving me to suffer through severe panic attacks. The old doctor would let me call and get enough medication to make it to a new appontment, this one won't. Its not like I am abusing my meds, I only take them when I'm having panic attacks and have not had a refill in three months and was only prescribed enough for a month.I would not go to this doctor and I'm currently looking for a new one.
