REVIEWS OF Personal Growth Counseling IN Tennessee

E W

The counselors have little concern for the welfare of the children and form biased opinions of one parent with no input from the other parent. They have damaged our children greatly. One counselor even accused my wife of having an agenda after 2 minutes into their initial conversation. Would not recommend this center to anyone.

I love going to Personal Growth and Learning, they have never failed to help me. They are all great people, and I highly recommend them! Laurie Whittaker

First appointment hope all goes well

Do not go here. It is a big ordeal and no one let you know the things you need before the appt. Waste of time and money.

The therapist there suck. I went there for about a year but I left because they weren't helping me at all.

Hannah

I highly recommend this facility. It's filled with wonderful people and they seem to always find the answer and know how to help.

Avoid at all costs. The location of the office is very attractive to TTU students who are in need of help, but in my experience PGC is anything but helpful. I wasted several hours of sessions with Dr. Carole, with her asking me a question, me answering her, and then her taking several minutes to silently type up her notes before moving onto the next question. Perhaps it is time for Dr. Carole to consider retirement because I left our sessions more frustrated and upset than I was when I came in. She also incorrectly diagnosed me, which was a battle to get sorted until I found a competent counselor. Skip Adam for meds too, he has no idea what he is doing. When I told my new doctor (an actual psy-doc) the history of medications prescribed to me by PCG, she was horrified. Avoid avoid avoid.

I have been going to personal growth and learning now for 6 years and they are very good to me and they care for me I have come a long way thanks to them.
