I cant say enough great things about Leah! I have a home daycare and Leah has worked with me on managing challenging behaviors and provided me with effective advice and techniques that worked! The techniques that she taught me has helped me understand how to teach youngsters to understand their own feelings and communicate them. This has made a world of difference within the environment of my daycare. I have seen a huge, positive turn around and I have Leah to thank for all of it! At the age of seven our daughter's anxiety had become such a barrier for her that it was interfering with her daily life and preventing her from every day childhood enjoyments. It started affected our entire family, causing frustration, tears, and helplessness. The problem was we didn't know it was anxiety, not until Leah. I can not begin to express how Leah stepped in and rescued our family and my daughter. We didn't know what was wrong with our daughter or where to turn. She not only helped our daughter, who now tells me when she has a fear and can walk herself through it, but she helped our entire family. My son saw Leah regularly for a little over a year while struggling with anxiety about school and other aspects of life. I was hesitant to seek out therapy, but I am very glad I did. My son's anxiety was interfering with his life and our family life nearly every day, which made me feel helpless. Leah became a great friend to him and helped both of us come up with ideas to help him manage his anxiety both at school and at home. She is very knowledgable in her field and passionate about helping kids succeed and be their best selves. My son still struggles with anxiety, but to a lesser extent than before he received counseling. He is more aware of what triggers his anxiety now and therefore is better able to cope in times of stress. I would definitely recommend Miss Leah to anyone searching for a counselor for their child.
