I HIGHLY recommended anyone to see Ginger Poag for any traumatic issues in your life. She is the most amazing, intelligent, and truly CARING therapist I’ve ever had. If I had only known about EMDR sooner in my life, I would’ve seen her much sooner. I wouldve never imagined that my experiences of childhood bullying, emotional abuse, and personal relationships I have had, were the reasons why I have had difficulties dating as an adult and being able to be confident with my own decision making. Since I have been doing EMDR therapy with her, I have been able to fully recover and grow in order to have a life without the guilt, low-self esteem and toxic relationships. She has truly saved my life! The amount of work I have done in the past year has amounted to years of therapy with a traditional psychiatrist who would only be able to prescribe medications as a bandaid and not help me truly recover.
