Very arrogant receptionists, they lie that they tried to call you reminding about upcoming appointment. On the appointment day we arrived on time on the day that was written on their visiting card. Once we arrived the receptionist says the appointment is next week despite of what it says on the appointment card. She says she tried to call us but we never received the call. She did have our correct number. We took an afternoon off from work for this appointment and loss of pay because of these lairs. These people are very rude when we pointed out their mistake.

Wesley, the Clinical Coordinator, is awesome! He made my sleep testing process super easy. The front of the house staff is super nice, Fredricka is very helpful and responsive. The only reason I am not giving this place four stars..is because I honestly have no idea what my doctors name is. He is friendly, but very quick.

The process was very quick. I received my CPAP machine within 2 weeks from the date I saw the doctor. They got me in fast and even called me to come in early one night when there was an open bed. I'm very pleased and am sleeping great

I went there in October and was told they were going to get my records from RI didn't hear from them for two months when I CALLED THEM and was told they were waiting to hear back from RI unreal so I called RI and was told they never heard from them also said we will send when they here from them called American back and told to call RI that was 3 months ago called back today and was told they have no way to know if I am waiting to hear from them thats why they dont call you back and she doesn't know if they have my records from RI.I WILL POST WHEN I RECEIVE A PHONE CALL BACK AND GIVE AN UPDATE

If I could give them negative five stars, I would. I saw the doctor in December of 2017. They scheduled my sleep study for two weeks later. Keep in mind, if you cancel on them without a 24 to 48 hour notice, you owe them $100. The night of my sleep study I arrived 30 minuets early. I was told there was a scheduling conflict and they had to cancel my sleep study. The technician on duty asked if anyone had called me, to which my response was, “if someone had I called me, I wouldn’t have come.” He apologized for their lack of communication. I then asked for my $100 for them not notifying me of their cancellation. He laughed. I was serious. He then told me someone would contact me to reschedule. I tried calling the next day and they told me someone would contact me. Four weeks passed and someone finally called to reschedule me. I had researched reviews online and found this was happening to a lot of people. I told the person that I would not be using their services and to take me out of their system. I then called my insurance company and told them, American Sleep Medicine did not provide services and not to pay them if they received a bill. This afternoon, 10 MONTHS LATER, I received a bill for $19.00 from American Sleep Medicine. This was the amount owed after my insurance had paid $505.00. This was also the first bill I received. I called and the billing service. The lady in the phone told me this was the first bill because the billing person had been sick and they are trying to catch up. She further stated, this was for my 5 minute initial consultation with the doctor. He checked my vitals, set an appointment for the sleep study and said goodbye. Since more people have written similar reviews, I feel this is a way to scam the insurance company for a consultation fee and rendering no real services.

When I firstg ot there and met the staff for the nighttheey were very friendly. They got me into my room very fast and let me know all that was going to happen that night. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. They had a lot of tv channels to choose from and I felt at home immediately. When it was time to get started the nurse was very nice about my hair and didn't ruin it. We ran the test and everything was fine. They wake you up at 5am and you leave by which for me is plenty time to showera nd get ready. I will surely tell others.

VA set up the appointment for me and I got to meet Mike the tech. We talked about being veterans and he made me feel better. I highly recommend going to see him.

not even worth the 1 star CROOKS Watch out for this company they are out to be deceitful and liars. Double check with your insurance do not believe a word that comes out of any of their mouths they are only after MONEY!!! Verify EVERYTHING thru your insurance do not let them be the one to call and tell you what you owe. they lied about being in network MULTIPLE times.

Absolutely useless. I had to call the for every step of my sleep study. I couldn't get anyone on the phone that new anything. They charged me $500 after the agreed to waive my fee. When they couldn't get me a CPAP machine in a reasonable amount of time they just referred me to someone else which took even longer. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst place I've been too, when it comes to the billing department.No one knows anything and will not return your calls.I advise no one to go there, because they double charge you and the insurance company and no one can explain where your money went and they keep sending you bills!!

I’ve been a patient for years and I don’t trust anyone else to take such great care of me. When I was first became a patient I needed so many things for my DOT license and I didn’t really know the process of things but any time I need a report done or to see my physician I can just call and it will be taken care of. They know the process well and walk me through it quite often. I’m very thankful for the staff here at American Sleep Medicine because without them I might not have my DOT license.

This place finally cleaned up the staff. Mike is still my favorite technician though but glad to see this place has finally gotten rid of a few bad eggs and doctors. The staff they have now know what they’re doing and I don’t hesitate to ask them for help. The new doctor is easier to deal with and listens to what I actually have to say. Great work and don’t recommend anybody else to use. Fast and reliable too

James the tech is very friendly. He has me sleeping very good and I no longer am disturbing my wife with my loud snoring. She can finally sleep in the same bed as me again. I am very pleased and feel a lot better.

They have the most incompetent doctor I’ve ever met. He’s a classic jack of all trades and master of none. He does three different jobs and at least does one very poorly. They are the cheapest in town but that’s for a reason. My doctor tried to prescribe me a highly addictive substance to use everyday. He’s the type of doctor that gives the medical profession a bad name.

The staff was very professional, caring, concerned and took great care of me during my studies. The facilities were neat and clean I had more problems during my visits. Now I'm waiting on my personal CPAP/BIPAP. Excellent experience. Mike J Sr.

OMG, the incompetence at this place is sad! Avoid it like the plague!!!! After years of dealing with them and having to do at least 4 sleep studies over the years...I am done with these idiots. From the people behind the scenes to the doctors, this place has gotten pathetic. Don't bother making an appointment because they will call you at least 4 different times to change them. HOW are they still in business!!?!?

My son’s ENT doctor sent a referral here. My son had a sleep study for snoring and possible apnea issues and I was a nervous wreck because I didn’t know what to expect. From the beginning I felt more at ease . Their knowledge and friendliness was above and beyond. My son is only 6 years old but they made him feel at home. They even had coloring pages and crayons on a clipboard ready for him to use so that he would be less nervous which made me less nervous! Mike the technician is really great with kids and made us feel at ease. We’re going to have to get a tonsillectomy for my son but we couldn’t have had a better experience at American Sleep Medicine. I’m very grateful!

I’m not sure what I expected at first because I’ve never done a sleep study before but overall it was pretty easy. Although I didn’t know what to expect the staff walked me through the entire process the whole way. If I had any questions to things anyone of the staff they answered it. The only thing I didn’t lik was how cold the room was but they gave me extra blankets when I asked for it. I’m also glad to feel better now that I’m getting the best sleep I’ve had in years!
