Took weeks to to find a therapist. Nicole left the office for vacation and it occurred to her halfway through that maybe she should have someone check her messages. By the time I was able to get a handle on what's going on a therapist called me three weeks later and before he asked me anything he told me he doesn't prescribe medication and he doesn't take calls after certain hours. He was short, dismissive and rude which leads me to believe he assumed I'm some junkie off the street looking for a prescription. Very unprofessional and very rude. Just another example of how awful mental health services are in this country. It's just not a priority at all. Save your money and time and look for a professional who has a private practice. It's a little more expensive but obviously you get what you pay for.
