Yesterday after 2yrs of suffering with thoracic and cervical disc protrusions I finally was referred to a spinal specialist by my P.C.P. I was looking farward to finally getting some answers to this excruciating pain while breathing. I have to say my visit with Krista was not as I expected. Krista Szatkowski is a physician assistant who specializes in spinal disorders, working with Mark Palumbo, MD. She dismissed my pain and problems as if they where normal, mind you I fell 37 feet landing on the ground at Bryant University over 2yrs ago while @ work. She had me walk on my toes and my heels then rolled a needle up and down my back and told me there's nothing they can do and everything looks normal and sent me on my way, never rely on a physician's assistant to do the job of a Doctor. Physicians assistants don't even go to medical school. This visit was a let-down I will definitely get another opinion from Saint Anne's Hospital where my MRI was taken. This is the nerve that my disc is protruding onto, because they cant fix it she called it normal. 7th intercostal nerve left. Some people need alittle more learning and to get off there high horse.

The doctore and staff here are good. The wait times are ridiculous. To make an appointment you have to wait a month to 6 weeks then once you get here you wait and wait and wait. Great if you're retired and have an entire afternoon to waste, not so good when you have a job to get to. Disappointing.

Dr. Green is excellent. He went way above and beyond in caring for me doing 2 reverse shoulder replacements. Also, Dandaya, the medical assistant did a fantastic job taking out my 27 staples. I swear she has hands of an angel, I didn't feel a thing. Thank you to all University Orthopedic staff.

Had my surgery from Dr blankenhorn he was a fantastic surgeon my ankle was shattered in 37 places two other Drs we're unsure that it would be functionally repairable ... Dr B repaired me and I was told it would be 9months to a year to walk again I was walking in 8 weeks one year later I'm running and living like it never happened with little pain only on occasion so yes I would recommend him to anyone anytime he saved my livelyhood I'm only 30 and thanks to him I still feel it

Dr.Hsu is amazing! He did my surgery and everything went so smooth. He is extremely professional and so nice. I highly recommend Dr Hsu. His staff is also very kind and both Dr Hsu and his staff take the time to answer any questions and never made me feel rushed.

Kettle Point location: - Dr. Paul D. Fadale, MD did my ACL replacement surgery. He is great, super nice. - The Kettle Point surgery center is amazing, state of the art. The nursing staff is some of the nicest and sweetest nurses I have ever met. - The anesthesiologist could have been nicer. She didn't have a great bedside manner. - I also go for physical therapy at Kettle Point. I love the staff. John & Lee are the best PT aids. Everyone is so helpful! My physical therapist is Terry Moreno Toste. She is THE BEST! Good amount of tough love. She is extremely knowledgeable and make PT entertaining.

Went to Md Fadale for knee exam, he spent more time cussing and teaching his student than he did examining and discussing my concerns. MRI he said I needed, never happened due to his lack of chart notation and insurance denied. Office staff attempted to help, never heard back. Waste of time, poor follow thru on their part.

Nurse was rude to me. The doctor said my daughter was too keep on her cast for four weeks and they refused to give me an appointment to remove it, at four weeks. The nurse overrided the doctor and told me my daughter needs to keep it on for six weeks, because it will heal better. The xrays showed no fracture after only one week. Unprofessional or was there another reason? Maybe the way I look?

I had a horrible experience ! Also .. every time I go to the new facility for a scheduled appointment I end up waiting almost 2 hours to see The doctor

I had pain for over a decade in my shoulders, which were badly arthritic from decades of weight training and wrestling. I had a left shoulder partial replacement in Boston over five years ago and shortly after the surgery, my shoulder stiffened up again and became even worse. It reached a point to where I was unable to move it. Because of this, nearly everything I did was with my right arm, which exacerbated the arthritis in that shoulder, again, to the point of losing nearly all movement in the only "good" arm. I went to orthopedic surgeons in Boston, Fall River and Dartmouth, MA and was told because of some accompanying axillary nerve damage, there was "nothing we can do". The pain became unbearable and I reached out to University Orthopedics. I met with Dr. Paxton who felt that he could help. His first diagnosis was that he suspected an infection was present in the left shoulder. He operated and removed the implant and replaced it with a spacer and indeed, it did have an infection. I underwent six weeks of antibiotic therapy. When this was complete, he did a reverse implant on the right shoulder, and I have nearly 100% of my movement back. This past January, he completed a reverse implant in my left shoulder - which was now infection free. He felt that I would not have full movement back due to scar tissue and as of today, I probably have 80%, which is more than I could have hoped for and it's still healing. And, thankfully, for the first time in 10 years, I am absolutely pain free and back at the gym. I am also now able to pick up my grand-kids and even throw a ball with them. I can't say enough about Dr. Paxton's extraordinary skills as a surgeon but also his bedside manner. He speaks with you instead of at you and is willing to take the time to answer any question. I can't thank him or his team enough.

Went to here for two appointments. Never had imaging or saw a doctor. Office Staff are incompetent and unreliable. After failing twice, I asked that the office manager contact me prior to my THIRD appointment. She never called, so I cancelled the appointment. Nobody deserves three strikes when your healthcare and well-being are on the line.

Dr. Robinson saved me a ton of problems with one surgery and it was a quality of life surgery a recovery type of surgery. I owe this man everything. And I'm not hesitant with the upcoming lower back surgery he has my full confidence!!!

Dr Robertson and Jennifer Pinhancos PA are both great. They took the time to listen to and answer all of the my questions. I had a smooth experience from scheduling my appointments, checking in, and staff follow up with referrals. All have been great!

MY wife suffered a terrible Fall down 3 flights of stairs at a school she teaches at a year or so ago. During this whole time we have been to many kind of Dr.s apptments ,PT, therapy, pain Mngmnt., you name it. None of which was consistent help on the road to her recovery. we've been met with indifference, sometimes in rarity a helpful kind dr,s office where they actually do all they can to help with my wife's chronic pain due to her injuries, but few and far between. So this same Dr.s Office and Dr. refers US to UNIVERSITY ORTHOPEDICS, and Dr. Palumbo, who they tell us is revered and regarded as the industry's best. as well as a Great champion for his patients. It was such a relief in some ways, to know we were "off to see the wizard", so to speak that he'd get my wife the help she needs or at least point us in the right direction, compassion etc. After countless MRI`s, etc, etc, my wife was asked to get another set by UNIVERSITY ORTHOPEDICS on her first visit there by Kaylee Lyford, who is Dr. Palumbo PA. In this initial visit Miss Lyford made it a point to be short, contrite and castigating of my wife's condition. MY wifes questions on her pain etc etc, were met with contradiction rebuttal and indifference! I couldn't believe it! She was told this was the process, that in order to be seen by Dr. Palumbo, Miss Lyford was the Litmus test, if she didn't think my wife should see him , she would dismiss her. Right away on the first appointment without any examination or reviewing my wife's files Miss Lyford said right away she didn't think there was anything she could help her with!! so my wife left later went to the MRI and I returned to the next appointment with her a few weeks later!!!!(few weeks). During that time my wife's condition became much worst. the bones in her saccrum 3 due to her spine being misaligned started purtruding like a horror film out as though they would pierce through the skin, like she was growing a tail! We tried for two days to ice the area then heat, nothing would help, and she was sore to the touch, nothing helped!! we went to emergency room and was told we needed to see a Orthopedic!! She couldn't sit walk, Sleep.. nothing extreme pain.. Finally we got to next appointment with Kaylee Lyford PA, we had brought X-RAYS from the ER. gave them to the office assistant to give to MISS Lyford. we waited short time then we went into patient room. 30 minutes went by, but the place wasn't busy.. Finally 45 min then she came in. that's when it happened!! I don't know, really don't know.. people have bad days, but this seemed very personal, Miss Lyford started with introduction to me re intro to my wife, and went into a machine gun rant about my wife's neck and back where she had injuries from her fall and original reason for being there. we explained the most recent development.. And her reaction was deplorably disgraceful verbally abusive indifferent then ignited like we had physically attacked her. We only asked one question , did you see the XRAYS we brought, cause something the dr.s in the ER said didn't look right. she became very aggressive leaping to her feet spinning around violently and bursting thru the door to the hallway when she came back she grabbed the chair she had flung to the side which hit the wall pulled it under her holding a laptop and opened it the hole time screaming that she had looked at everything that we didn't know what we are talki mg about because it was impossible could never had happened the way we are describing the raised bones in her back, we tried to show her my wife was already standing cause she could not stand she refused to look..she went on and on berating and talki mg down to us mind you she was now inches from our faces and her demeanor we intimidating when she shifts positions violently I stopped her!!That's enough .. stop it, go get your boss, we are done here with you, she went on telling me there were no bosses available they are all in surgeries , we told her we'd wait for them to come out on break!!They sent in another PA Kristi who seemed nice

2 weeks ago I had a total hip replacement. I have needed this for several years but have put it off. Dr. Jenkins was my surgeon , he reassured me and got everything moving. I was not looking forward to time at Miriam hosp due to a really bad experience many years ago. Everything regarding the surgery moved like clock work from admitting to the or everyone was reassuring and patient. Before I knew it I was in recovery and in my own room Dr Jenkins told me this would be the best way of getting the pain to go away. He was right, I would definitely do this again.
