My husband had a complete hip replacement 6 weeks ago, his physician is Dr. Llado. He is excellent, and his staff is superb! He was referred to him a few months ago by another doctor at the Foundry who he sees for his hands. His surgery from start to finish was a complete success. Dr. Llado you are truly the best, and I can’t thank you enough for giving me the greatest outlook to me living a great life, where I can finally walk again with no more pain. Been going here for a while, every single time I'm here for multiple hours waiting, even when I come five minutes early, check in and ask if the wait will be long and they say no! I'm still here for hours. I now leave a good four hours open for a simple check in at this place. The medical care is good, but the wait is atrocious

Foundry Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is the place to go for any and all sports related injuries. My particular shoulder issues were difficult to diagnose, but Dr. DeLuise and his staff listened to me at each office visit, and after each physical therapy evaluation, until we were all on the same page when it came time to consider surgery. After my shoulder surgery I couldn't have been more happy with the results of the surgery, and the Physical Therapy I received immediately following. The staff has always made me feel comfortable and always listened to me when I had a weird pain or needed extra work done in a particular area. I am only a few weeks away from completing my 20 week recovery and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Had rotator cuff, labrum and bicep relocation Surgery performed by Dr. Deluise in march 2017. Great outcome along with good communication of what I was in for in coming months. Dr. Deluise was terrific as was office personnel. Very pleasant overall experience considering what, as a patient, I was dealing with.

I asked for a PT appointment and explained i was in a lot of pain and needed to see someone today. The receptionist made me an appointment. I paid, waited almost an hour only to find out that the appointment was not for PT. There is another charge and waiting period to actually get a PT appointment. No one could explain what the first appointment was for, it doesnt even serve as an initial evaluation or referal. A huge waste of time and money that no one can explain or make up for, boardering on a scam.

Staff are very Rude! I took my mom there like 2 weeks ago and asked the front desk receptionist if she spoke spanish because I had to take my daughter to the bathroom, and she said yes but you can translate for her! and then I asked her again, so you dont speak spanish and her response was “kind of” . I left my mom there and asked her to wait, she then took care of my mom because i was taking too long and it surprised me to know that she spoke spanish very well, without an accent.

Doctors and physical therapists here are EXCELLENT. I have been treated here for ongoing knee issues which resulted in a very successful total replacement done by Dr. Llado in July 2016, and bring my 87-year-old aunt here for ankle and knee issues. Dr. Llado is incredibly kind and patient with her. Once you make it past the gauntlet of the front desk, everything's great. The reception system is cold and intimidating, I agree, but the level of care I have received otherwise means I'm willing to put up with it. One other note: be sure to plan for an extra ten minutes to get into the building if you are at all disabled--their ramp is in an awkward location and it is LONG.

My mother and older brother have had wonderful experiences at OrthoRI Foundry for several years. The staff have been considerate and caring, even with the significant medical agenda my brother has to deal with. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to close family and friends.

The process was professional and competent and the results of the surgery has been outstanding. I have nothing but good to say about Foundry, their competence and results.

I feel lucky to be referred to Dr Plante. He is very friendly and easy to talk to, during what can be a very uncomfortable period in ones life. I had/needed a Bankart repair (Left Shoulder) and was in tremendous discomfort and pain. He walked me through what needed to be done and how he was going to address the shoulder. He always left time for questions, and made sure I was at ease. He let me know timelines for expectations and warned me of what my do's and don't do's would be to avoid any setbacks, either mentally or physically. I can't say thank you enough to Dr Plante. I remember the smile he showed when I told him I was able to put my belt on by myself, this was 5 months after surgery. It felt like a huge victory, and I felt proud of the moment.

Been almost a month and I STILL haven't gotten the results of my MRI from them. Went there for a 3:30 appointment and was there almost THREE HOURS. Didn't get called in until an hour and a half after my appointment should have been. Ridiculous!

DO NOT GO HERE - especially for children. This place has been nothing but a nightmare. Was recommended by my daughters pediatrician for an ankle injury. In the words of my 7 year old daughter "there is nothing express about this place" over 50 min wait for our appointment. Phone system is a never ending cycle of being transferred to the wrong department. Office staff is unorganized (i.e. cancelled casting appointment due to being casted a few days early, got a call stating we missed an appointment, called on another occasion to cancel an upcoming cast removal appointment as we switched Ortho's and they had no appointment scheduled for her, I would be willing to bet they will call me for missing the appointment when the date passes.) I also had to correct the exit receptionist Jasmine as she was going to schedule our 3 week follow up visit 10 days later and was extremely rude when I pointed this out to her. I also find it alarming I was never sent home with discharge instructions, care instructions, treatment plans, cast care, post cast expectations ect.

Receptionists seemed uninterested,bored and rude. The clinic has the feel of just that, a clinic. People in and out quicly. I had a follow up appointment and waited 45 min. before approaching the desk after watching the waiting room empty out. I would have done it sooner but had difficulty walking. When I finally saw the MD he was rushed . I left not knowing if I could bear weight on my fractured femur or not. My calls to have treatment recommendations sent to my MD were not returned I was told I needed a hip replacement and referred to one of the clinic's surgeons '. I wondered about the clinic being a patient feeder to the physicians working there. Overall not a good experience and I would not recommend this clinic for follow up care.

I went to Foundry Orthopedics for treatment of a shoulder injury due to fall on an icy surface last winter. It is a well run office. Appointments were at the scheduled time with little or no waiting (less than 10 minutes). The staff was friendly and highly knowledgable. I always felt that I was in capable hands. I am very happy with the treatment I received there and would highly recommend Foundry Orthopedics to friends and family.

Consistently late doctors which the nurses actively admitted was consistently late. Doctor was over an hour late twice. Complete disregard for patients time is insulting and I will never go again.

I have been going to the Foundry for many years now. I have had several Doctors - most of the them were super! Except for one who didn't know quite how to handle my situation and had me go back to my first Doctor for my hip . The Staff from the time you walk in to the time you leave are very friendly and kind and most of all they really know their jobs. They work like clock work. Very efficient. I had papers that needed to be filled out by the Doctor's and this was handled in a timely matter. Very important since this had to do with my pay check. I really enjoy going there very pleasant atmosphere. Really enjoy my new Doctor - Dr. Keith Monchik and absolutely loved Dr. Lawrence Lee.

I recently had shoulder and bicep surgery from Dr. Anthony DeLuise. He was excellent prior to the surgery explaining the procedure expected recovery time, etc. The day after surgery he himself called to check on me. Follow-up appointments also went well. He was readily available when i called the office with questions. Excellent experience.

Extremely poorly run facility. Very unhelpful, curt receptionists, no customer service whatsoever. Long waits, inattentive staff. After waiting on hold for ten minutes was told that they were only willing to transfer medical records by burning a CD and having it physically picked up. Unable to communicate between their PT and "medical" offices, despite sitting alongside each other. Inexperienced receptionist wrote down the wrong date on the appointment card and I wasn't even given an apology when I was sent away after showing up at the time that was written down. Generally consistent with a decades-old mindset of practicing medicine that is indifferent towards customer satisfaction.

I've never had such a positive experience at a doctor's office. Extremely well-run practice. I booked an appointment for the following day, zero wait time in the waiting room, or the exam room. Saw the nurse, had x-rays, and then the doctor with no delay. Highly recommend!

I was just released today to resume normal activities. It has only been 7 weeks since the shoulder surgery. Way ahead of schedule and I relate that to the care from Dr. DeLuise who made me feel very comfortable going into the procedure and all of the follow up visits. During my rehab I also was doing physical therapy at the same location. Thanks Steve for your help with the process of healing. Seems like everything is OK and I hope to be swinging a golf club this weekend. If you are having issues I suggest you go to Rhode Island Ortho Again Thanks to all of the Staff

I saw Dr. DeLuise for a torn rotator cuff and was more than impressed with the results. Not only did we thoroughly discuss all options available, we also discussed the pro's, the con's and benefits of having surgery. Dr. DeLuise made it a comfortable decision to go ahead with the surgery. After the surgery, he actually called me the next day to see how I was doing and to tell me everything went well. For a procedure that is supposed to take 4 months of recuperation for to day to day functions & a year for full recovery, I was back to work doing the everyday things including exercises at home in 12 weeks and no longer going to physical therapy by week 16. Just amazing. I cant say enough good things about Dr. DeLuise. From the friendly, easy going an easy to talk to atmosphere of his office & staff to the quality and precision of the actual procedure. He was always a phone call away. Dr. DeLuise doing my shoulder surgery was by far the best decision I could have ever made.

Have not had therapy here so I can't speak to that but I have been a long term patient and have seen several docs here and all of them are EXCELLENT!!!. Yes you may need to wait to see them but that is because once you are in the exam room with them they take the time to LISTEN to you... that is very rare amongst specialists... you never leave there with unanswered questions. My advice... call the office before you leave for your appointment and see if the doc is running late... the staff will be happy to inform you if that is the case. If you want to go to a doctor, have them spend 5 minutes in front of you and just look at your chart and write you a prescription or a get out of work slip and never acknowledge you then go somewhere else... if you want a doctor that truly cares about you and how your orthopedic problem is impacting your entire life and the best way to deal with that problem... then come here... and be prepared to wait a bit sometimes....

I get a call days before a scheduled surgery stating that I must pay the doctor up front. What kind of medical facility doesn't have a billing system? Seriously DAYS before my surgery.

Tried to make an appointment. I gave all my information (address, phone, birth date etc.) explained my pain, then I was asked for my blue cross number, I explained I was driving on the highway and did not have my number available at the time, as I didn’t want to pull over on Rt. 95, and with a nasty pompous attitude the clerk told me she would not give me an appointment without my Blue Cross number (I said I can bring my card when I come to the appointment) She reiterated, no blue cross number, no appointment. That’s what you call hospitality! Terrible tone, terrible attitude. Not the only show in town.

The doctors are great but the receptionists must be unaware that they work in a customer service role. They’re unfriendly most of the time. Don’t let it deter you because the doctors do a great job. They still deserve a 2 because it seems this isn’t the first review with negative feedback about the front office.

This place was absolutely horrible. No communication what so ever. Took an hour for me to get into my app to see a foot doctor, the doctor told me he was gunna give me a boot and came back 30 minutes later saying I thought i said you could leave and didn’t give me a boot. Was supposed to call me and give me information about my insurance company scheduling me an mri and if they can cover it or not and I called a week later and no one even put in a request to my insurance company then I was told they would call me in 3 days and I tried calling on the 4th and they kept sending me to voicemail and left a message and here we are 3 weeks later and still no reply. How can you not check up on patience where I’ve now felt like I hurt my foot way worse now. But Finally found another doctor.

Not impressed by this practice! First appointment they want you to come early to fill out paperwork then between the waiting room and exam room I waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen by the doctor. Guess my time is not as important as there's.They wanted me to bring the x-rays that I had received the day before on a disc which I did and while I was with Dr. Calderella he didn't even look at them. They sent me to another doctor for a DVT ultrasound almost a month ago and I still haven't heard from them regarding the results or what they were going to do about the pain in my foot. I guess there is no follow up on their patients at this place.

I've come to this office a couple of times and have received nothing but attitude. I asked a couple of questions on the phone with the office manager and she was extremely rude. I do not work in the healthcare business like most others, and was confused about my benefits. She was harsh and seemed like she just wanted to get me off the phone, like I was bothering her. I've seem one of the PT receptionists put a call on hold and keep a line waiting just to speak to a co-worker and that is not how a practice should be run. Helping patients should be top priority and it is not here. I don't appreciate going to a doctor's office and the office manager trying to make me feel dumb for not knowing insurances or anything about referrals. You should really consider a change in leadership if so many people are unhappy, including employees.

Have had total knee replacement on both knees. Dr Llado and the staff were wonderful. Both surgeries were great and I can know move with full range and better than ever. Referred two patients to Dr L and both referrals are very pleased with him. One had a total knee replacement surgery and is walking and moving much better and is very happy with the outcome. The other is waiting for the right time for surgery.
