Dr. Foster apparently never read the reports I provided on my son's ASD, anxiety, sensory processory disorder and trauma. She was never prepared for his appointments. She missed appointments and spent one on and off her cell phone. She tried to diagnose my son with ADHD, a bad fit if ever there was one. She refused to let me talk, relying on my son's impaired ability to express himself. She never diagnosed him. After interference from his school district, which was not authorized to speak to her, she assumed the school's point of view that he was "school avoidant," that I--with 3 degrees including a JD--didn't care if he went to school, YELLED at him and mocked his sensory issues, and would not let me go to him as he was laying on her floor crying. She charges exorbitant prices for non-treatment.

Recently my 13 y.o. had his first visit with this lovely provider. She made us feel welcomed. She assured my son he was in a safe space to speak his mind. She allowed him to lead the discussion and took cues from him on what to discuss next. We are both speaking highly of her. I am excited to have found her and am happy she is with us on this mental health wellness journey.
