Avoid this place. They are running a scam. They are not affiliated with Psychology Today. More accurately they are on a list, that anyone can get on. Patients are not seen by a doctor--I found the PA abusive, and when I called to complain I was met with silence.

I was treated more than fairly. These people where sent to me by Angels. No one else ever seemed to care so much. I even have my husband going for therapy, and psych with Dr. Patil. They are understanding when it comes to Trauma patients, drug and alcholol related issues. I know have 35 days clean, and my spirituality had come back. I had to take the hard road here. I had to accept my problems instead of staying in agony. I had been a patient before but I stopped taking my meds. I was not ready yet. I did not really deal which what caused my opiate abuse. I have had some Doctors whom really judged me due to my past. I am not what happened to me, and definitely don't deserve to be put down for meds I do have to take. They where understanding of that, and the nurses are wonderful at priorauths. I am know getting three services in one place. It's my professional family. They never judged me for my disease of addiction and took account in trusting me not some paperwork from a place I used to go too who played more of a guessing game. I feel I am headed in the right direction. With Summit, God, my family, and support group whom all agrees with Dr.Patils choices claimed he and his medical staff are saving my life. Insurance companies should start looking at ppl as individual clients I feel. If Doctors are going to give Suboxone for say they should help you not throw you a script. Dr.Patil looks at every angle, and makes sure he is making a reasonable life saving decision. I was tired of being a a person walking around with my head down. I Prayed to God and I stayed clean on my journey through some p.t.s.d., and anxiety, and this is where I am at. I am glad for them to give me a chance to free myself

Absolutely terrible experience. The new NP told my husband he doesn't have any illnesses and said there is nothing they can do...after being diagnosed by a DOCTOR....what!?!?! Absolutely crazy don't waste your time or energy. Front staff is rude and this place is useless since Dr. Kramer left. We travelled an hour to see Dr. Kramer. The NP he saw never smiled once. She only asked 2 questions and never asked about his symptoms. Unprofessional NP that will not take your mental illness seriously. Her name is Diana and she was terrible! Please I beg of you don't send your love one here they will make them feel insignificant. They don't listen to their patients and it's not worth it. Her response to my husband was "you weren't diagnosed as a child so you don't have what you're claiming you have". My husband is a 4.0 student and she told him he doesn't need anything to help him cope. But, she failed to find out was my husband was never diagnosed for his illness as a child because he was adopted by his grandmother who didn't believe in mental illnesses. If she had taken two seconds to ask how does he do his school work she would have realized he spends hours in an isolated room rereading things and still has a hard time paying attention. If she payed attention she would have realized that the skin on his knuckles are chewed off so bad that there's big pink lumps on his hand. She judged my husband and wrote him off as a "faker". She gave him an analogy and compared him to an Olympian who juices for performance enhancing abilities. That is what this woman..this so called educated NP told my husband. That him getting his medication is simply an "enhancer". I'm disgusted. I'm absolutely mortified that she is dealing with patients who suffer from mental illnesses. Please, please do not go here.

Agree with the others. Dr. Patil is the best psychiatrist there is. He listens beyond your appt., asks questions to know that your scripts is right, but also to know how you are, with the most zen expresssion, unless he's laughing with the twinkle in his eye. One of those ageless peaceful individuals you just know is on earth to truly help others.

Amazing doctors. They saved my life.

Brian Salkowski

I just had my first appointment there and it went really well the doctor listens and was not judgemental and is providing me good treatment. 2 thumbs up.

I love my therapist Brittany! I have tried going to therapy 5 times in my life and hated every therapist I seen. Brittany really takes the time to get to know you and she is a very smart woman!

Susan Duffy

I have never had a psych dr actually listen!! Dr Patil is a great doctor. He actually wants to help you, instead of just putting you on meds that don’t help and send you on your way. He has helped me more than any other psych dr ever! I highly recommend him. He doesn’t rush you out the door, and cares how your doing!! He has seriously changed my life!!

Great place.. Wonderful therapists and doctors.. :)

Heather Clark

I never write reviews but This place is awful. I was never able to get an appointment with the therapist. They were booked and would cancel appointments all the time. I was never able to get ahold of ANYONE besides the receptionists and even then dr scoleri would never call back. Don’t get me started on dr. Britney scoleri. She put me on way too high of Xanax and then discharged me without even speaking to me or explaining anything. She prescribed this dangerous medicine and a dangerously high dose, as well as other ones, and has left me to withdrawal off of them and takes no responsibility or care for her patient. Please don’t go here. You will regret it.

Tracy Jones

I love Dr. Patil!!!

Felicia Cruz-Fernandez

Made an appointment after a 20-minute intake call and then showed up to the appointment, only to be turned away and told there was no appointment time. An absolute waste of my time and unprofessional. I don’t recommend. They do not listen to you! I get the impression that they don’t care about their patients!

Shalyn Meanor

Terrible!!! If your looking for somewhere that works with mental illness this is not the place..I have ptsd, anxiety, and bipolar according to them but they told me I am never aloud to come back because I missed a appointment...yes I’m mentally ill I don’t always get out of bed, isn’t that what they are supposed to specialize again and then on top of that they denied my child for me missing an appointment...she has no control over being there or not being there if I don’t make it a day.

Nightmare. I look back and I can honestly say that my dealings with Summit Psych where horrible. The only diamond in that hell hole was PA Kramer no longer there. The office staff were miserable. My PA appts would get canceled by the staff and next available 2 months out. Panic for the long passage of time w no med check. Eventually med Rx needed. Leave messages with the most miserable ‘Nurse Ratchet’ Weekday nurse. Between the nurse and the office staff I was met w passive aggressive attitudes. Awful awful uncaring. They should be shut down. Shame on you Summit Psych.
