I have been going here for a while and honestly I thought they would be more understanding. Prices are ridiculous here. 25$ for each 15 min visit. Not even a dollar per min. I go there get my perscription and leave. Then I miss one appt because they never called me the day before because I scheduled this months ago so of course I would forget. But they tell me that I signed a paper and stuff like that. Ok I'm sure I did but I never got a warning or even like a hey you have to pay 70$. All I all I'm taking my business somewhere else because I'm gonna have no money by the time I'm done with this place because honestly I have anxiety now, this place just adds to it.

I had the most humiliating appointment with Lisa Richardson. I was scheduled for 2 appointments the 2nd one was with a very unstable Lisa Richardson as she fired 1:45 minutes of questions very fast as she said she had a patient waiting,so she told me to answer her without getting into detail. Ya rite what do details matter rite. So I answered all of her questions as quickly as I could and after what seemed forever after looking at her she’s kinda ruff on the eyes if you know what I mean she agreed to help me to get off repeat GET OFF a particular medication. So that’s what I was trying to accomplish and she agreed to help me off them. GREAT. Told my family Dr that I found someone who is going to help me get off this medication and it wasn’t 3 days I get a letter in the mail stating that she couldn’t schedule me back because I didn’t answer a question correctly, keeping in mind what she said don’t have to go into detail. She did nothing but waste my time and money not to mention the humiliation that she put me thru. Health care providers should not be able to do this to people it is unethical to do that and I Will be addressing proper mental health authorities upon this matter. Please beware of this place, I was so mislead by her it’s mind boggling. PATIENTS BEWARE.

I have been going to Richardson Psychiatric for 10 years now. All of the staff is very helpful and friendly, they are accommodating as well. If you need something they will get it done that day if not they will call you and let you know when to expect it completed.

Unfortunately ,this doctor was unable to recognize the signs and symptoms of benzodiazepine tolerence / withdrawl which can lead to seizures, coma and even death. I tried to explain how horrendous my anxiety had become even though I was on Xanax. I felt at times as if I were being judged unfairly. Not everyone can easily taper off benzos in a few weeks. Much to my dismay, the lack of knowledge a out microtapering of benzos and the much needed emotional support while coming off was not available here and I ended up in withdrawl which created so much trauma and CNS changes, I ended up with P.O.T.S. Dysautonomia, PTSD , cardiac arrythmia and unable to work, drive etc. I was put on longterm disability as a result. Losing my career, surrendering pets, foreclosing my home and partially bedridden. Why dont psychiatrist and neuropsychiatrist understand the multitude of variables in benzo tolerence and withdrawal?!
