The worst therapist I have ever encountered for co-parenting therapy. Extremely one sided and actually started seeing my ex in therapy without my knowledge. Found out when he slipped in session and told me I wasn't showing up to sessions he requested. Even had to print out months of phone records to prove he never called when he said he called. - Told me he was a sworn officer of the court to intimidate me, which is an absolute lie, and that I had to follow everything he said, because the court gives him that power. - Told me I had to give up time with my child because the court's order was wrong. - He refused to make up a payment schedule for his overpriced sessions. $225 per 45 minute session. Rarely did his session ever last the full 45 minutes and spent the remainder of the session working on processing payment through his credit card machine. - Told me I had to put my 18 month old child in rubber underwear to force potty training, and then left me threatening voicemails that he'd "tell the judge" if I didn't comply with everything he recommended. - Willfully lied to my attorney that I hadn't gone to one session, when in fact, I had been to 4 sessions at that time. I literally had to show receipts to prove that I was going. - Wanted me to pay for sessions that my ex couldn't make it to and had canceled. When I showed up, he told me she canceled earlier in the day and I was responsible for the session's full payment. Even though we could not hold a co-parenting session without the other parent. He never called to tell me the session was canceled. - Does not utilize email for anything. He created sessions without my knowledge. Told opposing counsel that I wasn't showing up, but had no evidence other than his word. - Told me "if I want to I can force you here everyday, and you will have to pay me too, because the court affords me this right." I filed an ethical compliant to the Board of Psychology against this therapist. He avoided speaking to the investigator for months regarding this complaint. Beware of this unethical licensed "professional."

I’ve known Ed for over thirty years. Seeing him on and off. He’s a solid guy and compassionate. The negative review above should be ignored. Ed is completely appropriate.
