REVIEWS OF Valley View Counseling IN Oregon

Deanna Davis

The five I got from my counselor was incredible. She's nice, open minded, and willing to help me through all my emotions. With baby steps. And she's patient with me. I definitely look forward to her helping me. Considering, I've never seen a counselor before.

I went here about 10 years ago and it was wonderful. To cut to the chase, this time around I was flabbergasted at the change. I would give them a star only because they were good at working with my schedule. However, the place is filthy! I would arrive as they opened and even then it was a very dirty unkempt place. I was seeing Tania and each week it was the same. Her office was a mess, she asked what I wanted to work on and when I suggested the therapy she had recommended in my initial visit, she would say,"We could try that." We never did, no progress. I also am sad to say, I could hear the counselors behind the glass discussing other clients. Not cool.

I took their empowerment class with Nikki Fox and it really helped me, absolutely 5 stars. I don't know what other people had issues with but the person that referred me to his class was sure that I had anger issues, needed anger management class and insisted on Nikki concuring with her, but she wouldnt. Nikki was able to see what the true issues were and saw I was a victim and a battered woman. I hate those words "victim", "my abuser", "battered" etc.; exspecially when it comes to me. During this class I was no longer a "victim" i became a Victor. Now that word I like. Thank you valley view and thank you Nikki Fox.

Two counselors had three weeks to mail their findings to a Government official so my family can start to recover from an untenable situation and they both failed to do their jobs. A typical state funded operation.
