I went to TAI because my shoulder was bothering me, waking me up at night, etc. There was no injury - just increasing pain over time. I also had a nagging knee strain from running that wasn't getting better. Neither injury was catastrophic, but both were interfering with my daily life. They did an assessment, thoroughly explained what was going on, why I was hurting, and we started on a PT plan - a combination of office visits and a home plan via a handy app. It was really easy to do either at home or at the Y. My schedule is a bit erratic so that meant I came in all days and at different times. This gave me an opportunity to work with just about every staff member. They were all professional and genuinely concerned about my physical well-being, focused on restoring my aches and pains, and regaining my quality of life. 6 weeks later and I am in maintenance mode with both issues resolved! I'll keep doing the PT on my own but will return if any other concerns arise. I couldn't be happier with the caring, personalized service I received at Therapeutic Associates!

If anyone saw my post from 10- 4-2017 I was not in the right State of Mind. Laura Evans is a thoroughly knowledgeable and professional therapist. I would recommend anyone to her that doesn't want any fluff and gives you answers you may not necessarily like. Which usually turn out to be the right ones, then Laura Evans is your therapist.

My Dr. sent me to TAI to Laura Evans because I was suffering a painful shoulder which I could barely move my arm and the little I could move it brought excruciating pain. Laura assessed my shoulder and started me on some exercises. A couple of days later when I saw Laura I was able to move to exercises with more movement. It was very slow at first, but now I can fully use my arm and shoulder. What really impressed me was the way Laura was able to individualize the treatment to what I was able to do with the minimal movement I had. She has always been very concerned with the pain and took care not to inflict more. This care was way above my prior PT experiences. Kathleen went above and beyond in dealing with my insurance who insisted that I was not covered. I gave up, but Kathleen proved to them that I was. Thank you Kathleen! PT at TAI has been a great and positive experience and I recommend Laura Evans if you are in need of physical therapy.

I came to Sherwood Therapeutic Associates with little hope, as I had been suffering with chronic pain for 3 years. The physical therapist explained more to me about my condition and told me that there is hope and they would be there to guide me to better strength and mobility. It's been almost 5 months and I am doing more than I'd ever dream that i would be doing, thanks to these physical therapists! They have been knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about my recovery every step of the way. I injured my shoulder, but was amazed at the recovery I had with Laura and Tony at TAI Sherwood. I was happy to be 99% better by the time my next doctor appointment and consultation was scheduled. Some of the exercises I've even incorporated into my normal workout routine. This staff is excellent with recovery and any questions I had along the way.

This was my second rotator surgery...where I spent 7 months in rehab last time....this time the Doc let me go after 14 weeks..I attribute this to the excellent therapy program with Shane...he seemed to know the right things at the right time....which in my mind led to a speedier recovery. I am now able to ski again....after believing I was going to lose a whole season..and I am grateful for that and being able to do normal things again.

I came to TASherwoodPT for knee pain, which eventually involved a partial replacement and post-op care. Not to mention that my back pain and TMJ were also addressed while I was there.
