Due to a medical emergency I was unable to attend my appointment. Because of an emergency they refused to even reschedule me until NOVEMBER. The receptionist was RUDE. I didn't even submit any signed documents agreeing to their policies! It's hard for sick people to seek help! They obviously only care about the money they missed out on because I couldn't come. Shame on them!

I would have given zero stars if that was an option! Absolute worse counseling office I personally/professionly have ever been too! Staff is rude, and nasty, not theraputic in anyway. If you are feeling down or need help DON'T GO HERE!!!

Counseling is extremely personal and not everyone will find the perfect fit. Luckily I did!! I have participated in counseling form many years and for the first time I am getting solid life changing results with the use of EMDR. This is the first place that offered an alternative to "talk therapy" allowing me to really heal from the many traumas in my life. Finally feeling like I am strong enough and capable enough to conquer my "demons".

I was told none of the counselors will see someone with my mental illness. I am without a counselor after years of weekly counseling. Nobody in Albany will see me. I'm struggling really bad and figured a counseling place would be able to help me. Guess I'm on my own.

Terrible. They charge a higher fee for the first session knowing that the odds are you will be going elsewhere after discovering that these therapists simply Googled "how to placate idiots". Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you need any real help.
