If you have a super basic need, I'm sure Kristen would be fine. Unfortunately, if you or your child has a moderate to advanced need, Kristen is not the therapist for you. She does not provide you with a treatment plan or any session notes if asked. She is judgemental and her facial expressions do not hide this. She does not take the time to focus on issues that the parent brings up (...probably because she does not treatment plan and takes little to no notes during session so she doesn't know an accurate level of progress a client is making between sessions). She is a VERY, VERY tip of the iceberg therapist and does not get to the root of the problems. Essentially, we sought help for emotional release and regulation, coping skills, and self-esteem for our little one brought on by emotional trauma. After several months of not focusing on these issues, we could not in good conscience continue to waste money and get nowhere. I do not recommend Kristen Bishop, so if you go there, I would choose a different therapist to meet your needs
