It's easy to give advice; Kevon helps guide people to the wisdom they need, based in Biblical principles. I don't know how to describe it better than that. He asks tough questions that make one think about what God wants for their lives, what they want themselves, and what are the healthy ways to achieve God's best for our lives.

I do not recommend Kevon Owen, Christian Counseling. Kevon used to be a mentor and pastor of mine. I looked to him for much advice on many issues both spiritual and otherwise. However, in the most dire and lowest period of my life, Kevon was more of an hurt than a help. Once, after I had just gotten out of a major fight with my step-father, I arrived at the church and came to Kevon, expecting some Christian advice on how to deal with my painful situation. Instead, Kevon immediately said I was "manic" simply because my "eyes were dilating." I received no Christian advice from him that day. Also, he continually filled my family's heads with half-truths and misinformation, even though he was not my heathcare provider and had no right to tell them anything about me medically. I eventually filed a HIPAA complaint against him. I have no idea what Kevon is up to now, and by God's grace I have forgiven him for his actions. Frankly, I want little to do with him at all anymore. I simply feel that people ought to know a little of what happened in my story with him. Eventually, I was thrown out of my former church and moved far away, which turned out to be God's divine providence since through that, I found the true Church. If you want to seek Kevon's counsel you are free to do so. I cannot recommend it.
