Dr. Martin has truly helped me and my family in our time of need. She is very compassionate and pays great attention to everything said. She has offered solutions and counseling that has lifted us up and continues to guide us through some hard times. We are forever thankful for her!

She claims to be a Christian counselor ,I see nothing Godly related to her counseling. She is very condescending and arrogant. She told my daughter that she is fat due to her Dad not spending time with her. That was so wrong. She is very impressed with herself. I would not recommend going here for Christian advice or Worldly advice. Find a Spirit Filled Christian counselor. Never never here!!!!!!!!!!

I want to start my saying that Dr. Martin did help me at first, but I started to notice things that didn't line up with what I'd like to see in my therapist. She's very reactive and opinionated depending on what you share. I felt as if she was trying to "talk me out of" feeling a certain way instead of addressing the root of my emotions. I would answer certain questions she would ask, being honest and she would give me a look like she didn't believe me. I occasionally left feeling like I was unable to say all I had to say, I would get cut off by a response or a question often, and in my last session it's like she forgot what she had mentioned to me previously because she was saying the opposite of what she said in the past, perhaps because she was unable to get my file pulled up. I left that session feeling worse, that along with the out of pocket cost, it was too much. After she thought she wasn't getting a payment for an appointment I had cancelled (had every intention of paying), I received a voicemail personally attacking my character. She is very condescending and her behavior was unbelievably unprofessional. Her VM stated and I quote "I thought you were going to keep your word...obviously you're not a person of your word". Would never recommend.

I do not recommend this counselor. We went for relationship counseling, and after 3 mons our relationship was worse, not better. Her approach is to forgive and forget and never deal with the past even if it’s still causing issues in the present. She chooses sides and is very condescending. When I expressed that the counseling approach was not a good fit for me, she blamed me for the counseling not working. She does not have good active listening skills or empathy. She told us in the first session that she is burnt out, and it was obvious throughout our sessions. We should’ve taken that as a clue. When you trust someone with a very important relationship in your life, and they treat you like that, it’s very disappointing.

Can't sing her praises enough! I have been to several counselors, and although I liked them all, Dr. Martin was by far the one who was able to actually help. She didn't just listen to me, she gave me insight, advice, and spiritual homework which strengthened my faith. Her counseling helped me grow closer to God, win the battle over strong addictions, and saved my failing marriage, that now 6 years later, is stronger than ever. We still use all the tools she taught us and can't thank God enough for placing her in our life. If you want help, I strongly suggest calling her.
