Select Physical Therapy at the Marion, NC site has been a valuable resource for my wife and for me as we both recovered from shoulder surgeries over the last year. The treatment center is located near the Marion Hospital and is easily accessed for parking. The congenial staff is the 'main attraction' for us. They are very professional in their approach, and treat each patient with close personal attention. They put a very 'human' face on the procedures, using a conversational style that helps people to feel a part of the healing community. i.e., it never feels 'clinically rigid'. It makes you look forward to the sessions.

My first experience with a physical therapist after my rotator cuff surgery was a disaster. It was painful and the therapist wouldn’t listen to my cries. I had no progress after 6 weeks. My surgeon then directed me to Select Physical Therapy. I wish I knew about them from the beginning. Allen Won is my main therapist and he has been wonderful. I was fearful at first with anticipation of pain but he soon calmed my fears. I also was seen by two others in the group who are equally competent, friendly, and caring. I gave made much progress and look forward to getting my full range of motion back soon!

I would highly recommend Select Physical Therapy. The three therapists I experienced were all skillful and empathetic. They explained clearly what I needed to do - both at the facility and at home. The atmosphere of the place is very pleasant with lots of light, as well as friendly repartee among the therapists and patients. I actually enjoyed coming to P/T , which has not been my experience at other facilities!
