Can I give zero stars for patient neglect? I do not go here, but my mother did. She was given a medication that she misread the directions on, and was doubling her dose, which they did not catch... that's not the big issue at hand here.... the BIG issue at hand here is when the dosage and milligrams changed and she called to confirm, they STILL did not catch that she was doubling her dosage and DOUBLED it AGAIN, which in effect overdosed her! They told her it would run its course and the way she felt would go away.... it lasted for almost a week, during which they did not check on her, nor did they notice that she was taking enough seizure meds to keep and elephant from having a seizure. As I just found out about this an hour ago, I have not reported yet, but I will be doing so shortly with BBB and OSHA. She may not have known where to turn for help, but as a nurse, I DO. I would not reccomend bringing an animal here, much less a human being. Shame on this practice for their patient neglect and disregard for basic human decency...

I use to think very highly of this Institution. I've been seen here for more than 2 years and today I received a discharge letter from the nurse practitioner that prescribes my meds. The prior psychiatrist ( that is located in this Institution never would have discharged me, after all I had seen him for 2 years, I should have never switched to the nurse practitioner). I will admit I have missed some appointments (heck, it's indicative to why I need my meds). I was going to call and try to get back in but after thinking about it Id rather leave and go somewhere that is genuinely concerned about my mental health.

The offices are nice aesthetically. However, most of the staff are rude and show no accountability for the errors their associates make. One of their doctors insinuated that my reasons for seeking services for my son were less that genuine because of the timing. He failed to acknowledge that it took 2nearly two months to get an appt with him. I spoke with Mgmt about the statement and this women was quite dismissive of my concern and drafted a letter that blames me for not seeking further services. I think they are capable of providing good service, but I refuse to be disrespected in the process.

If I was able to leave the star completely off, that would be a more practical review. Offices like this are the exact reason why people in this country finally break. There is no reason why an evaluation should take TEN WEEKS! ANYTHING could happen in ten weeks, especially if you have a known psychological disorder. Yet they expect you to wait that amount of time, or longer, with no meds, no help, no end in sight all the while knowing how hard it is for some people to finally ask for said help. This is not the place to go if you’re looking for a solution. They have shown zero regard for my health, my family who has to suffer right along with me, or anyone I’m around- WHEN that’s even possible. Funny how they’re real quick to ask, and accept, my payments prior to being seen, yet they’ve done NOTHING to help... Here’s a nice little update: After calling at the 10 week mark and leaving an unhappy message, someone calls back and leaves a voicemail at 7:20pm. I could write that message verbatim, but I won’t for obvious reasons. This individual left a message saying the “doctor” would look over my evaluation the next day. That was the end of the call. I call back today at the 11 week mark and not only does the girl who answered have the audacity to argue with me that she KNOWS the provider told me 8-10 weeks for them to come back, when that was not mentioned ONE TIME, but then turned around and said she has no idea what’s said between the provider and patient. I may suffer from some “imbalances,” if you will, but I’m quite smart- smart enough to know when a person thinks their snotty, condescending attitude is being passed off as them being professional and courteous. She acted as if I was supposed to magically know they were ready and said they had been ready since last week. Yet no one mentioned that one time. Hands down, THE WORST OFFICE EVER.

I've only done the intake so far. The psychologist (Ursula) was wonderful. One of the only people I've ever met that "gets" me. She set up my future testing and I hope to speak with her again. She gets me!

Worst place ever. The psychiatrist listen to you, do not even pay attention and give you medicine that they don't even know how your body will react to it. I took one of those pills and the next day I wanted to die. I stop using them and I also stop coming here. I had insurance and on top of it, they sent me a bill charging me for no reason. This place sucks. Poor customer service and the professionals should have their license revoked.

I have been coming toThe Haymount Institute for about 6 months. I've had no problem with anyone. I saw Aleida (one of the owners) once for therapy and I told my Med Doc that I didn't click with her and she instantly let me meet Karen. I had My appt with her and I absolutely LOVE her. She understands what I'm saying and Yes I know that you need more time to connect with someone, however I didn't click with Aleida (one of the owners) like I do Karen. They always set my med check up every month and I have Therapy every 7 to 10 days. I'm very happy with coming here.

A year ago they referred me to that institute and I called and they always tell me to call again to make the appointment and they never call me and I keep calling and they tell me the same thing have already been a year and they still do not make the appointment for me son, they are very irresponsible, my son was diagnosed with imperactivity and I need to treat him and these people just play with the patients!

I arrived at the office 15min prior for my appointment. I filled out paperwork online so that I could make the most of my session with doctor. I would have given a "5" but I waited for 15 min AFTER my appointment time to be seen. I was informed prior to my appointment that if I was 15 min late I would be charged a fee. Just think time is as important to patient as to the physician.

Nice Staff Great Doctors They Truly Care. One of the physichiatrists there is very old and very strict. If you ever have high blood pressure don't expect any meds for adhd even with a gp doctors note saying your not at risk for a stroke or heart attack. Worst experience ever...

Alida Mason is a highly professional and knowledgeable therapist, and helped me immensely through a tough time with long-term PTSD and anxiety issues. I highly recommend her and her staff. This sounds very cut and dried, so I would like to add that Ms. Mason's empathy, compassion, and genuine caring for me went a long way toward my healing process. She always seemed to go the extra mile, and recommended both therapeutic advice and coping skills tools that contributed to overall improvements in my mental health. The only reason I am no longer a client is that I moved.

The psychiatrist at this clinic should have his license revoked. I called and left a message with his office staff that there was a crisis and he needed to call as soon as possible. Well a week passed and there was still no return phone call. Thankfully a psychiatrist that I'd seen for 10 years prior saw me and helped me. I'm very sorry that I chose this office to begin with for my treatment because they are HORRIBLE! I cancelled all my appointments and will NOT ever be under his care again because he does not return phone calls, doesn't listen to any of your concerns, and has a "I'm doctor and you're the patient" attitude. Please if you know someone who needs behavioral health care do NOT choose haymount. Explore your options.

Great doctors and staff are friendly. The office is beautiful! My son has been tested here, which has been a huge help at school, and I've also done therapy here off and on over the years. They really try to work with your schedule and have always been professional... Be ready for a TON of paperwork though! When they say come 30 minutes early as a new patient, you really need to if you want to get everything done in time for your appointment! They're definitely busy but they're great at what they do so it's worth dealing with to get quality services. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was a patient there and my ins changed and kust before I missed mu appointment, iwas dropped as a patient and had to go cold turkey off my meds.I got so sick and the girl who handles insurance was so rude to me that I went to Fayetteville Psychiatric on Ravenhill Rd off Raeford Rd.

I wish I could give negative stars. I called them because my child was in need of help and medication. The woman I spoke to said they couldn't see her until a previous balance was paid. I again tried to stress the urgency and she was just concerned about a previous balance not my child's well being. First do no harm no longer exists. So sad.

Jamie in scheduling has a poor attitude and acts like she doesnt want to deal with new patients. If your facility is over booked then you need to hire 2 schedulers, rather than be cheap which results in one grouchy worker.
