Went here for marriage counseling. This place is awful. The counselor was basically talking the whole time about past clients and their situation. Didn't really try to help us. My now ex-husband and I both didn't like this place. Once the counselor was 30 minutes late because he forgot he scheduled the appointment. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE.

This is a fantastic place for therapy and the staff is to be commended on their work and professionalism.

I applaud the compassion, kindness and professionalism I find upon entering their doors. I am always greeted by an upbeat personality at the front desk - usually Terry, yet everyone behind the desk offers a warm welcome. Darleen Hopkins, my counselor, is truly an answer to my prayers. She offers an ear for detail in a comfortable environment free of negativity. While she does not have a magic wand to fix challenges she certainly does have a comforting prayer and sound guidance. I am very grateful for the services offered at Fayetteville Family Life Center and the great people working there.

This place does not practice the biblical ways as they imply. My 18 yr old son was seen by a counselor who became unprofessional. She had him transported from her office to Roxie (he is not on drugs, all test negative). We didn't know where he was. He was transported by police & put into a locked down, inpatient facility. He was scared out of his mind. My husband and I were informed after she got him admitted, which was hours later. We continuously called their office looking for our son and the office staff would fuss "he is 18 and we don't have to talk to you!" at us and hang up. This is true, but there is a better & more professional way to handle this. My 18 yr old kid was put into a locked down facility with older, psychiatric patients...people screaming and acting out. My son was devastated by this experience. After being discharged, he returned back to Family Life to be informed he is being DROPPED from counseling, without anyone giving a reason why. This center needs new counselors & re-training. They are operating OLD SCHOOL and treating human beings with dignity & respect. DO GO HERE!!!
