Dr Hanna is a amazing doctor and person. He has been helping my son for years and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his staff. My son loves to see him.

I spent many years being treated at Seacoast. I loved the quality of care I received. The staff actually cares about their patients and doesn't just treat someone as a dollar sign. They take the time to address your issues so proper treatment can be administered. They take notice of the details. Not just the big picture. I took for granted the mental health care I received while living in NH. Since I moved to FL I have received little to no care at all. I severely miss Seacoast and their care. I wish they could put an office where I live now. I would suggest Seacoast for mental health. They are all friendly and welcoming. There is no judgement. You feel safe there. Never an issue with rescheduling or making an appointment. I put in a lot of time and work as did they, to better my mental health and I have gone so far backwards since moving. Please do not take their services for granted. Once you no longer have access to them you will realize how truly fantastic they are. I would love to go back.

If I could give less stars I would... Leadership treats their employees extremely poorly. Appalled at the things that have happened, staff-wise, with this group.

horrible!!!!!' Staff very rude. If you can go elsewhere , Please do. Both Exeter and Portsmouth . If you don't like your job LEAVE!!!!!!! Do the world a favor .

Terrible. Therapist turnover rate is so high because people always leave for something better. They want better pay or want better professional advancement opportunities. One thing Seacoast seems to do right is set you up with a therapist that matches your personality well. My med provider is OK but is overly concerned about liability. Also didnt give me enough meds once. "Emergency" services takes a little while to call you back. I dealt with them in the ER and i felt like the clinician just wanted to go home. I go to Seacoast because idk what else to do.

I called office because my back hurt so bad that I could not drive to Portsmouth office, they have you go to office just to fill your prescription, and charge $$, I called at 8:15am and is now 4:40 pm and have heard nothing, now after reading what I will go through if I suddenly stop meds, could be dangerous, what kind of doctor would do this? One staff member told me that I can't get my prescriptions filled unless I go to the office, so I guess they really don't care if you end up with sezures or even death

Absolutely disgusted with the “care” they provide. I’m appalled this place is even still in business.

The only experience I have had with this organization is a supervisor in the administrative area named Marie. She was incredibly rude to myself and the other person I was with. I do not know how this organization treats people outside of this engagement, but I would never want to deal with this woman ever again.

Perhaps for a mild case of worry, or if you need a counselor to talk to to get over some grief there may be some value. For real cases they are unwilling and ill-equipped. It takes over two and a half months after being accepted before you can even meet with "a prescriber" to review whether the prescriptions your last care provider gave you are helping or hurting. Asinine. Something that should be in the best interests of both parties to have happen on the first visit they make you wait months for. Won't see you more than once a week. Advertises as a team approach care solution, at best you're lucky to speak with a counselor once a week. No substantive aid whatsoever. But where else can you go? Good luck. Don't do anything drastic while they drag everything out for months. That's all they have to offer. Unconscionable lack of care.

I have been waiting to hear back about what the plan is for me and no one has called. I’m running out of medication. I’m starting to shut down because I’m afraid I won’t get my meds called in and I’ll get sick. Why do I have this fear? Because it’s happened several times at SMHC. They have one receptionist in psychiatry that is just awful, so rude. She basically interviews you to see if you even need a refill and personally I don’t want her to be part of my recovery. She has caused so much anxiety. She has forgotten to pass messages, claimed they got lost or stuck in the system. I have gone four days without medication and been so sick and in such a terrible mindset. I have also been put on a new med and had a bad reaction, called the 24 hour line and asked to have my doctor paged, the nurse was rude and eating food in my ear the whole time. I was crying and she kept yelling, “I can’t hear you!!” Then a doctor without my charts or any knowledge of the med called me. I was really not well, I told him my symptoms and he told me it sounded like I had a “painless migraine.” A psychiatrist who went to school told me this. Then he told me to come in after the holidays. Luckily I’m an adult who would not do something drastic involving my life, I called someone and said I had a terrible flu and would they come over for a few hours. They did until I fell asleep. SMHC is a place where many people have to go because insurance is outrageous and NH is terrible with mental health. We have no options. I shouldn’t have to fight monthly to get my medication, deal with a awful staff, worry about this non stop. If I could afford better help I wouldn’t even consider this place. For those of us who have no choice, don’t let anyone here push you around. You deserve to get better just as much as the people who can afford to go anywhere they want. We need to make NH more aware of how awful it’s healthcare laws are.
