My family is so grateful for Dr. Cook! It was pretty overwhelming to imagine how my daughter would respond to a therapist to get her Selective Mutism diagnosed. (If you're not familiar, the easiest way to describe it is social anxiety x10.) Anyway, Dr. Cook has a special place in her heart for kids who are suffering with crippling anxiety that silences them. She was very kind, gentle and understanding when she interacted with our daughter. We still have a long road ahead of us, but the 1st steps are always the hardest.
