I went seeking serious help with my depression after I looked her up on psychology today thinking her 30 years of experience would help me. I emailed and called with no reply granted it was on the weekend no big deal so I decided to call Monday to see if I could make an appointment. I was turned away because my issues apparently aren't as important as other's but at least she tried to recommend doctor's that would help me. I am writing this because I hope someone with serious depression doesn't ever try and seek help there. It was extremely unprofessional and rude they way she turned me down simply because It was not a eating disorder yet her profile says she also deals with depression. After 30 years of working to help people with serious issues she sure handled my situation horribly.
