Nick worked with my family and I for about 18 months during my adolescent years. I was struggling with substance abuse, absenteeism from school and family responsibilities, and a broken relationship with my parents. Over the course of our sessions, Nick helped me dig through a lot of bitterness and anger to discover what was actually going on with my relationships; both with others and with myself. He helped me find comfort in taking the long view, and taught me how to process emotions in a sustainable and mature way. To say that this work was hard would be an understatement, but working with Nick made it worth it. 5 years later, I owe both the loving relationship I enjoy with my family, and my own personal success in college and the workforce to my time with Nick. Best therapist I've ever been to! I saw Dr. Hong for about a year, and we worked on battling my severe anxiety issues. I feel like a completely different person now; I'm going to school, have a job, and social life. Which were things I didn't have/do before. He's very professional, kind, and friendly. Our family has been working with Dr Hong for some time now and he has been absolutely amazing. My 8 year old was battling anxiety and school/ social issues and after only a couple visits my son was a new kid. Our family made significant progress in communications and management based on his knowledge and recommendations. He was very thorough with intake information ad was able to quickly make progress with our son and our family as a whole. He was thoughtful, timely with emails, sessions and calls, professional, conscientious and confidential. Our son immediately bonded with him and I would recommend him to anyone especially children and teens.
