I whole heartedly recommed Dr Shoemaker. It was very difficult time in our life dealing with chronic health issues that has many complicating factors. Words just cannot do justice in how we feel about her sincerity to help and level of care given. Dr Shoemaker demonstrated an experienced level of care that was needed to help in our situation. She is amazing and I feel she has pulled together a great team of people. This is a rare find in today's world of healthcare. I feel God placed her in our lives. So wished we had her on our team of Dr's before now! Much more could be said, but if your in need, don't think twice, reach out to her team.

I had to wait 2 weeks to get preliminary evaluation. I had to wait 4 weeks to get insurance authorization to schedule my "official" evaluation. I had to keep calling to check on status. I was then told my insurance would not cover it and had to pay $1200 dollars, or $1,000 cash. When i asked to speak with Dr. Shoemaker to ask why the cost was so high, she told me, "She was not going to get into that with me." So I called Dr. Stock in Gulfport and explained the situation. Dr. Stocks office got my authorization within 15 min and my copay was $30. Dr. Stock had me scheduled in within a week. Anchor and Dr. Stock were both IN-Network... If you need any medications, Anchor Psychology cannot write prescriptions, so that's another appt. If you don't have tons of money but still want quality support, I recommend Dr. Stock in Gulfport.
