If I could give a negative review....I would give it a -5!! Most unorganized office I’ve ever experienced. Wait time to see the psychiatrist was ALWAYS over an hour + wait with standing room only waiting room.

I have previously been to two counseling places, yet, it did not take more than two visits to quit going there. This is my fifth months at the Tricounty Counseling. What u personally look for other than nice furniture and tropical smelling rooms is professionalism and mannerisms during direct contact with patient, on top of candidacy and transparency. What I also look for is a knowledgeable staff and MOST IMPORTANTLY good LISTENERS for what you came for or what you're having going thru. All these aspects are found at this counseling center. You will not be promised with an exotic smelling rooms and an extravagant looking building, but you will definitely be promised with a respectful professional treatment and the best psychological and psychotherapy available that is absolutely PRIVATE. Dr. Hinchman and Dr. Garmo are very unique and absolutely amazing when it ckmes to listening. They are really good listeners, professional, knowledgeable, and have a lot of sympathy for patients; a feature that has been diminished or devalued from many patient care professionals.

Dr. Karmo deserves a 0 Star! She is the worst doctor ever! I don’t even think she is a doctor. Please don’t waste your time with this doctor. My mom spent over $2,000 on this lady to help her get a citizenship and it was all a fake! All this “doctor” cares about is money. She deserves to be reported to immigration. She doesn’t care about patients, she argues and fights back, clients are always wrong and she is always right, she keeps people sitting in waiting rooms forever just to call them back to her office for 10 mins. She is a scam!!!! Don’t trust her, don’t believe her and DONT HIRE HER!!!

Very unprofessional. So VERY unprofessional. Waited over an hour every appointment that I had. When I did have appointments, they weren't even aware that I had an appointment. When I met with the psychiatrist, she left the door open to which another patient walked in multiple times. She was also eating well talking to me and I was also told to "hurry up" so the next patient could get in when I had waited over an hour and a half past my own appointment time. I was also charged a co-pay, after I was told they called my insurance and were told I needed to. I then had to call my insurance to find out I shouldn't of been charged. It's been three week's now and I am still going back and forth for my refund. Not the mention the bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper towel and smelled absolutely terrible. Also, no parking lot lights for night time appointments. This place is terrible, go elsewhere!

I met with a psychologist for an intake appointment, during which she demonstrated that she has zero knowledge of mental health disorders. She kept asking me what 'triggered' my disorder, insisting that I tell her (the only thing I have ever been triggered by is that appointment). And when I met with the psychiatrist (I waited for an hour and a half past my appointment time), the psychologist read my information to her, but she got it all wrong! She didn't even listen when I was telling her my basic health history- my birthday, where I'm from, where I live, etc. Everyone was scheduled at the same time, their organization is terrible, their personnel is worse. Don't go there.

Terrible. Counselors are not qualified. Talia K Al-Hamando Phd runs the facility and appears to be the reason quality of care is so horrible. She schedules multiple patients at the same time for the psychiatrist so appointments always run behind 2 hours or more. The psychiatrist tries to do a good job but Talia K Al-Hamando Phd is in the room during the appointment so there is no privacy/confidentiality between the patient and the MD. She also rushes the MD through the appointment instead of letting the MD determine how much time should be spent with the patient. Patients are only dollar signs with no concern for quality of care.

Veronica is a big help with the issues I have in life, however the other staff(besides front end crew) don't seem to care that much when it comes to your well being. Just about every time I've gotten to see Dr.Hinchman , I was always told by Dr.Carmel and I quote "Please no longer than 5 minutes, in and out, yes ?" Worries me that someone in the mental health care field would even say that to a patient of there own clinic.

Do not go here. They are the worst. I'm pretty sure most of them are not qualified and the therapist I see is not really a therapist. All she does is yell at me. Also the wait times are horrible. I suggest bring something that will entertain you for a very long time if you go here.

I DIDN'T HAVE AN ISSUE WITH BOTH OF THE RECEPTIONISTS, NOR DID I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE PSYCHIATRIST EXCEPT THE FACT THAT SHE IS TOO CONSERVATIVE IN ISSUING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE MEDICATIONS,,,, I THOUGHT THAT IF YOU COULDN'T PRESCRIBE ME A CERTAIN BENZO,,,, WHAT'S YOUR USE?? BUT MY MAIN ISSUE WAS WITH DR. TALIA KARMANOS,,,,, I SAW HER ABOUT 12 TIMES AND NEVER DID SHE EVER ASK HOW I WAS DOING MENTALLY,,,,, ALL SHE CARED ABOUT WAS MONEY,,,,, AND DR. KARMANOS TALKING IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE TO THE RECEPTIONISTS,,,,, I JUST THINK THAT SHE WASN'T A REAL PSYCHOLOGIST BUT RATHER A SOCIAL WORKER WHO DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH,,,, ALL SHE WOULD TALK TO ME ABOUT WAS HOW EVIL NORCO, ATIVAN, KLONOPIN, VALIUM, XANAX, ADDERALL WAS AND I CAUGHT HER MORE THAN TWICE MESSING AROUND WITH MY SCRIPT FOR ADDERALL AND KLONOPIN,,,,, AND SHE,,,, DR. i'm sure not many people even read these reviews but i just have to share this, i was sent here as it is a place that takes my medicaid, was not bad at first, minor annoyances like the wait times as well as my therapist making and taking personal phone calls during my sessions. i didn't think much of it because i really wanted to give therapy a try again. once i saw the psych i told her i think i have bipolar disorder, she never fully diagnosed me however, she just put me on anti psych meds. the therapists i have seen never bring this up, they never teach me coping mechanisms or what i may expirence with bipolar. i can only speculate that i am bipolar 1 but they never told me! i full plan on switching as soon as possible after i have a word with them. extremely unprofessional, after i had waited an hour to see the psych i get in there to wait another ten minutes while she talks to the receptionist about some medication she was taking. i don't think any of them really take their job serously or even want to help anyone. its like they never gave a thought to how hard a job this is. all but one of my sessions was i able to speak freely of my issues without being constantly interrupted. i don't like the other therapists i've been given but this is the worst experience i've ever had
