I find Dr. Dumlao to be a wonderful doctor. He always listens and willing to try other approaches. When my daughter tried several different medications for depression and they did not work we started going to him. He did a swab of her mouth, sent it out, and she was given a list of medications that might work, and those that will never work. We found that amazing. We have never had a problem with the receptionist. She has always been helpful is assisting us any way she can.

Very disappointed in the service provided by Dr. Dumlao recently. I understand that emergencies come up and cancelling appointments is unfortunately part of business when those needs arise. However, to be unwilling to accommodate the patient with convenient times in the near future or to not go above and beyond to try and meet with a patient is very disappointing. The receptionist was also very negative in tone and used a too bad so sad approach to trying to solve the issue. I would not recommend using this office in the future.

I called the office to ask for a refill and receptionist was very rude to me, told me I had to come in for an office visit but couldn’t get me in for an appointment for a week. I assumed this meant they would call in my meds but they haven’t and now I can’t get a call back. I left a message on the machine telling them I will now be going off my antidepressants... it’s been over 24 hours and no call back. I love dr Dumlao but this is irresponsible and dangerous.

The doctor himself is excellent. The only one my husband is comfortable with which is the ONLY reason we still go to this office. The reception alone makes it unbearable. Every time I call to schedule an appointment i either get no answer or get hung up on. There have been times i call and get put on hold and i wait for about an hour. I hang up and call back to get a message that they are on lunch. Went to lunch while a paitent is waiting to schedule an appointment. The receptionist is also rude 90% of the time. So in all if my husband wasnt dead set on this doctor we'd be taking our buisness elsewhere becaisewe can never book a proper appointment anyhow. When i can call and make an appointment that isn't a month away" or even an appointment in general, or possibly talk to someone to make an appointment. Then will i give this office a better rating. Dr.Dumlao himself is an amazing specialist. His office crew however, less than helpful to say the very least.

Dr. Dumlao is an exceptional Dr. He has genuine concern for his patients but as far as staff goes, not so much! I have been without my much needed medicine for well over a month and they do not care and have not made ANY effort to get me an emergency appointment! I have been feeling physically awful not to mention in a very bad state of mind!! I'm sure if Dr. was aware of his patients situation he would be on top of it! Some situations could be detrimental but uneducated staff could care less and would rather not put forth any and all efforts that may inconvenience their time and life! If only they knew.

This is not a place to go to unless you enjoy a rude and careless receptionist, the first person you speak with should show you why you should choose their office above everyone else’s but here you can expect only brash exchanges met with a feeling like your wasting their time with mundane tasking. I would never allow someone to work for my business with such a negative attitude especially a person who has ability to prevent good people from ever coming in with just one conversation.

Dr.dumlao is a wonderful psychologist, but his staff not so much horrible receptionist they are not professional about answering the phone and handling patient questions.
