not a great place to get medication refills

Took advantage of me, didn’t book appointments for me, changed my appointment dates and times without telling me due to “doctor request”.. I’m so disappointed and frustrated... STAY AWAY. SHAME ON YOU PSYCHOLOGICAL CARE ASSOCIATES!!

I’ve only had experience with Dr. Emily Hotz relevant to her performance in neuropsych testing for the 14-17 age group. She’s kind, empathetic, asks critical questions and is very thorough. I believe she is more comprehensive in her reporting style than many other neuropsychologists. The test itself is only one half of the process: it’s the report and the narrative which helps you or the school better understand your child’s needs. I was impressed with Dr. Hotz’s intake style, how she worked with our child and final report review. They group offers add’l testing like attention, reading, writing, math, outside of the purview of the standard assessment, which may be considered out of pocket costs. They seem like an honest organization when it comes to pricing and any possible out of pocket expenses.

After years and years of being a good and easy patient, I couldn't get a prescription for and extra month. I started a new job and my Dr works the exact times I do. So in the meantime I was set up to meet with another dr in the practice. Still not able to get a refill because I had to be seen 1st. I am now suffering from withdrawals, having a hard time with my problems without treatment and won't be seen until May 23. How is that patient care. Besides the fact it cost me more as a copay with insurance than it did if I was to walk in from off the street. May 23rd is a lifetime away for someone like me.

Shoddy communication and billing practices. Money is the priority here, with zero regard to the patient. Beware of multiple missed appointment fees. They make you pay it to schedule an appointment, and then they hit you with it again to schedule the next one. They collect from the insurance and the patient. Fraudulent billing practices.
