She has developed successful strategies for working with children with a variety of needs. They enjoy meeting with her, and she has been enormously helpful and supportive to their families as well. I was struggling with how to manage my three year old and feeling at times like a “bad” mom. Karin helped me to develop the skills I needed to manage my son’s behavior effectively and with confidence. His oppositionality immediately decreased (I know!) but most importantly, we started enjoying our time together again. It is such a relief to feel like a good mom again, thank you Karin!

I highly recommend Dr. Karin Hodges. We have worked together on a number of cases and I know her in my professional community. On cases, she is highly responsive in sharing information, and very collaborative. In her work, I have observed her to be diligent, thoughtful, caring, and to go the extra mile for families and kids in her care. She has an active style, and is able to engage parents and kids in effective interventions (including CBT). She has a strong sense of ethics. She thinks broadly and conceptually as a psychologist, making her a good teacher I would imagine too!
