They do not care about the well being of their patients. I forgot to call and cancel an appointment I had to miss and was charged $125. I understand that it was an inconvenience for the nurse practitioner I was supposed to see but it was my first time and not repeated. She said it herself:"I know it's backwards that we stress people out about money while caring for their mental health". Hypocrites, bad business and a waste of money.

I have been told by a provider that they only manage SSRIs here- not any other psych medications- because "they are easy." People, do yourself a favor and do not visit psychiatrists like that who refuse to treat mood disorders. It is kind of like your PCP telling you that s/he does not treat high blood pressure. In summary, Commonwealth Psych only does cosmetic psych like Botox---Shameful!
