When I had my initial appointment, the person taking my information and background was very helpful and seemed to care deeply. My wife and I then had an appointment with Lewis who told us immediately “I don’t care how either of you feel. That’s not what I’m here for.” He also said “I’m not going to read your file about your background because it doesn’t matter.” When we told him the issues that we wanted to work on and try to resolve, he said “you don’t have any problems other than the fact that you need to be more like Jesus Christ and then all of your problems will go away.” My wife and I were seeking marriage counseling and were met with guilt tripping because Lewis thought we were “turning our backs on Jesus”. If I could rate zero stars, I would. I’ve never felt so pressured and uncomfortable due to a counselor.

I've attended CCA on and off from 2009-present, with 3 different therapists. The first two changed professions for his family and the second retired. Both of them, and my current therapist are above and beyond helpful from biblical and psychological perspectives. All the receptionists are friendly and professional. I recommend them to everyone who desires to receive treatment from both disciplines.
